I’ve moved & travelled around a lot as a kid so in this video I talk about my journey as an international student making a decision to study biomedical engineering in Ivy League university that is Cornell!
Starting from high-school, talking about my extra curricular, being the school captain and then off-course coming up to the final decision on what made me choose biomedical engineering and Cornell University. All of this plus a short day in my life as a biomedical engineer.

The happiness seen throughout and the required hardships you went through, that has shaped you to be who you are right now is really inspiring and just makes it feel like the journey should be enjoyed. Thank you for such a positive and uplifting video ✨
I am a biomedical engineering student and I did not have biology as a subject instead I opted for electronics in my high school😀
And i scored the most in human physiology in my 3rd semester of engineering🤣 Life is unpredictable😅
I'm in 10th grade rn and they still make us remove our shoes before we enter the computer lab 😂😂🤦

Mam can you tell any degrees like biomedical engineering that don't require mathematics?
Please make a detailed video on transferring from srm to harvard.
I swear your experiences in high school days is identical to mine 😃 even I the scored lowest in Biology and yet pursuing Systems Biology.
Your story is really amazing.
my high school years were from 2001-2004 in Delhi and yes you are right when you said we had to take our shoes off before entering the computer lab. Fun part: we use to skate in the computer lab in our socks as lab had wooden floor and it was super slippery..🤣😂.. (my computer teachers were super cool to let us play around sometimes) good old memories..❤
Amazing dii
The story of biomedical engineering's introduction to you was unbelievable.
Thank you Saloni for the giveaway! We still do the socks ritual in college BTW.
Is msc in medical lab technology student eligible for MCAT EXAM?
How much u charge for the mentorship

Hey didi....can u please reply me....i really need your help
I had a thing to ask...lets jst say u cmpled ur undergrad from sm iits in biomedical eng. N thn u get into sm elite cllg in usa for ms in biomedical as well...is there any chance that he/she will be able to get into a medical school w this background or is there anyway u can be doctor after completing engg. In biotech or biomed
Yes absolutely! Biomedical engineering is considered a pre-med degree, now since your hypothesis is based on the fact that the undergrad degree was completed in India, you may need to take some missing pre-requisites. When you’re applying for MD programs in the US they will let you know what’s missing so you can complete those courses. Good luck!
Thank you sm for d response.😊...u r doing a grt job...💛
Nice sharing and be connected.
Hello Saloni,
I feel lucky to come across your channel today, as I was extensively looking for Masters program in biotechnology in USA but having alot of doubts. So, thought of dropping a comment here.
I have done my Bachelor's and Master degree in biotechnology in India and I have been working in a research institute since 4yrs.Now I want to do master's degree in biotechnology, or in cell and molecular biology concentration there in USA and would like to apply for fall 2022.I haven't prepared for GRE and looking for GRE waiver universities. I'm looking for public Universities without GRE.I have IELTS with 7 band score.
I have come across few universities with GRE waiver, but I'm doubtful if it is possible for me to get into those Universities.Kindly, suggest me the possibilities and how can I get the admission without GRE.
Thank you in advance.
Due to COVID most colleges have waived gre. Also majority of public universities don’t provide scholarships so keep that in mind
😍
I really liked the way you share your story and the best part is that somewhere they are relatable
U r lucky , i m from a very underdeveloped part of india , here corona destroyed us 🥺🥺 i already took a drop year, even then i m in a same situation i too wanna give sat exams but i found this information very late
Hope to see this Mac book box in your secret cupboard of all the apple products you've bought!
Hi, i have seen all your videos and u were awesome . Actually i also want to apply for computer science fall 2023 to ivy leagues and tier one unis , but i dont have strong extra curriculars or very mindblowing academic record .
I was school head girl, managed all the events of my school also used to prepare for speech , raking part in school programs and creative competetions and all but nothing very great.
10-93%
11th-88%
12th - still to give ,
Plz recommend me how can i get into there . Actually i just realised in my 12th that i want to study in usa and not in india
Also my 10th was from icse but i changed to cbse for my 11-12th , and i am preparing for my jee exams as well , so if i am able to clear it will it make any impact on my admission . Clearing olympiads like imo ioqm also make sense for getting in there ???
Lots of love from #Odisha
Hey, make a video about your salary as a biomedical engineer in usa
4:55 i used to think that my school is the only one which has this weird rule xd xd
I fom Tinsukia Assam in baghjan Goan । । very very good Volg
Didi!! I got a scholarship worth $45,500 annually for 4 year for Knox college!! And now I have to pay $18k - $20k annually!!! Can you share some suggestions, ideas, ways, and scholarship which can help to minimize this amount too?? Because still it is quite expensive for me...
This video might be helpful- czcams.com/video/Ez-lsPvlCU0/video.html
Di i am not lying but the taking off shoe thing is in my school too , u know what is worst in this is we only need to remove shoes not socks and sometimes whole room becomes quite smelly . 🤣🤣🤣😅
We took our shoes off too in high school before we got into the computer classroom. Indian high schools are weird. Hahahhahah
your subjects in class 12th ?PCB orPCMB?
6:05
The shoe thing is definitely a mystery till now..I'm in college now and we still are asked to remove the shoes😂
Yeah! I guess they don't want dust in the lab.
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯
omg taking the shoes off in computer labs - Even we had to do that until 8th-grade smh
Who is Karan di
Hello didi...
I am Vineet... I have seen almost every video of yours in your channel.... and honestly, you are my ideal role model, your every words motivates me every time... your videos are totally amazing full of excitement and all..
I am very happy to say that I am accepted in Transylvania university for fall 2022 as freshman with $25K renewable scholarship for 4 years over $60K total cost of attendance!
and $35K annually is quite unaffordable for an Indian middle class student... which is 26-27 lakhs so I am looking for some other external resources for funding my education, so it will be my extreme pleasure if you can suggest something to me... any scholarship or anything like that
or otherwise I have to drop the plan to attend it. :")
Hi Vineet! Congratulations on your acceptance and securing a scholarship! Why don't you get in touch with me at mentorship@crazymedusa.com & I'll provide some insight on additional sources of funding :)
@@CrazyMedusa yeah sure, sure didi 🤩🤩🤩😊😊
@@eldersiblings808 hi, were you able to get some information? And did you plan to go abroad then?
@@Libbydar_17 yes I do.. I'm still working on it... I have gathered all the information I wanted to have... and now I'm working on it
@@eldersiblings808How's it going
Hey sis I am currently studying in class 10 . I want to join an ivy league school . Can you pls guide me on when I should take up the exams such as SAT and TOFAL and when should I send my acceptance letter.
It would be of great help sis
Nahi mileage Ivy League Meitner
@@vanexports8387 thanks for giving me a motivation to try my best!
Hello🙋♂️
Last part- all gym wasted 😂😂
Computer lab drill is in all icse schools 😂
Your story is pretty relatable but with one part it’s the PHYSICS I HATE IT.
Am I First...?
Yup! :)
The sound is coming out very bad. During the video shoot, keep in mind that the light should not come on the back side. This my suggestions. Do not take otherwise. Good Luck
By the way your heirstyle save much time rather then my sister😂
