I think Kenner intended their stuffed Stay-Puft to be the real stand-in for a big figure. Even the box art shows the toys blasting him from on top of the Firehouse, I'm pretty sure. I have both and the plush one is super cool - his eyes and mouth glow in the dark.
They probably did, but Plushies tend to aim for a younger kid than action figures. I knew tons of kids with the figures, but very few with the stuffed Stay Puft.
Winston’s proton stream is yellow, not green... just in case somebody sold you on it saying it was original. The basic RGB figures you have displayed inspired me to get some of my own. GB toys and TMNT are the only ones for me! Nice video.

I literally cannot watch this cause I had all these toys and even a great story about my father getting the last firehouse in the entire state of Pennsylvania at the time but over time lost them all including the firehouse. Ive thought about getting replacements, but instead what I did was built 1:1 life-size RGB Proton pack and equipment. All working with lights and working movable parts etc. When my Haslab pack finally arrives and I put it together with my Spengler wand (I got a last batch of silver tips too) then I will have both a set of 1:1 scale movie equipment and a set of 1:1 scale RGB equipment. The final straws will be building each containment unit. Ive mapped out my garage, and the cartoon unit is gonna cover/be access to my water heater and the movie unit which is much smaller and can basically be my electrical panel. I'll load final work to a youtube channel I make and will post links later when it's done. Enjoy the toys

Staypuft was able to change in size in the real ghostbusters, I think. I never opened that slime jar because it was so small I didn't want to use and waste it, I wonder whatever happened to itm
We had more Real Ghostbusters and then He-man/MOTU figures in the mid-late 80s than anything else. Sure, we had a couple of ninja turtles, police academy, dick tracy, transformers dc superheroes/Batman and robocop figures, but Ghostbusters and MOTU/He-man were the things we enjoyed the most. We had more Ghostbusters than anything, but we wound up having more Batman and turtles stuff in the early 90s. We had about 10 MOTU figures I guess, and a few of the new adv of he-man figures.
yeah, wasnt all that impressed with the new adventures line they did from 89-92, but the figures were pretty well made. didnt really catch my interest that much, but neither did the 90s batman toylines, the toybiz marvel likes like spider-man, x-men, fantastic 4 , iron man, marvel superheroes or tmnt. none of those 90s lines really sparked my interest. My parents were literally buying MOTU figures at flea markets during the early 90s because I wouldnt play with none of the new stuff. They didnt really mind anyways becuase they were saving money by doing so. LOL I got a used incomplete castle grayskull from santa clause for xmas in the mid 90s.
@@Pegwarmers thanks for the reply. I'd assume that the companies made blue prints of all parts for the station. I'm in no financial stability to make this come true. But I'm happy for someone with a 3D printer to take up this niche market. If it helps make this little pet project of mine take off. Dude you must have some connections please let us all know if you find blue prints and if ever I get it restored I'll send you a few pics. Honestly it's in a sorry state. In the meantime I'm off hunting for parts.
You're right it was called Slimer and the Real Ghostbusters. I think it was the same show syndicated, with that title slapped on it. Like Transformers Generation 2. New toys, but same G1 show with computer generated intros.
only care about the real ghostbusters, :l what makes me mad about the new movie is they are making it seem like everyone's mad that their all women, trying to cause a feminist war. when in reality people just didn't want the movie made because of how reboots are these days. they would of been better off making it a sequel even with the women etc.

I hear mattel are making figures...unfortunately, hopefully they aren't the online only bs. they are making an ecto one and figures to fit into it. but based on the new movie. common sense would say make figures of both versions. I'd prefer a updated version of the rgbs, but rbs, and the new and old movie would be cool. long as we get figures, ghost and ecto 1's.
+Point of Viewz Yeah, Mattel has the license. During a movie year they can probably do a retail line. In none movie years it's hard to get enough fan support for a full line, so online is the way to go for them.
