Incredible game from both players. The last minute comebacks from both DE and Norsca players were absolutely fantastic.
Empire: variative lord choice, each of them situationally strong for their price
High Elfs: 3 lords have heal magic, powerful duel lords
Norsca: best lord are doggy pack

I’m really surprised neither player went for the high ground to shoot down this game considering how much fighting took place right below the cliffs.
neither had ranged units with long range. dark shards can sort of do it but they're very vulnerable to flyers and fast cav up there.
You cant cover for your ranged infantry when they are separated from your force up there. Easy pickings for fast units.
Always love the games where its "Legendary Lord vs the Commonwealth".
The stand-in lord mechanic to avoid penalties for a lord dying or fleeing needs addressed. Watching tournaments and seeing good players like Hadres have a skavenslave as his lord and desummoning it literally every skaven game to avoid game mechanics is very lame.
Easy solution would be to extend the lost lord penalty to any situation where your lord isnt on the field

the Black Ark Corsairs are so good! Both them and free company are such a cool hybrid unit. As a kislevite i wish that armored kossars will rich such power one day, because after all we are faction where hybrid unit is a central idea .

Some really good micro for the DE here, it’s tough keeping all your missile pieces moving but they did it perfectly
Gonna ask once again that you remove mirror matches from the list in total tavern as they give an inaccurate impression of game balance. Chaos warriors have a 68% win rate right now with 61 wins and 29 losses. Removing their 18 mirror matches the results are 43 ws to 11 ls. that means that when fighting a faction other than themselves chaos warriors have a 79% win rate. TK are also listed as having a 68% win rate, but if you remove their mirrors they only jump up to a 73% win rate.

Mirror matches are already not taken into account on the overall win rate of each faction. Chaos warriors have 61 wins not including mirror matches, which you can easily check yourself by adding their wins up. This is the same for every faction. Nurgle for example has 15 wins, 16 including mirror matches, but is only listed as having 15 overall.
If Chariot's charge wasn't borderline broke and usefless in WH3, I would advocate for a chariot rush to brakethrough the frontlines and reach the crossbows.
Alrik Ral did so well to scrap back into the game. Massive lapse by the Dark Elf player when they were almost 4k up in value at one point. I wonder if they relaxed and got a bit too cocky thinking the game was won.

As a filthy casual I find domination even more confusing than land battle. Althought tbf I get confused when asked to do more than sit in the corner of he map with dwarven artillery and prayers.

Morathi is strong, but Malekith is much more overtuned at the moment.
If that norscan player didn't push his trolls forward into the missile line almost immediately he would saw much more success. Sloppy.
