- I went to New York for itswhitenoise's RWB build ! Indeed, Nakai-San, master coach-builder of Rauh-Welt Begriff had accepted to build one of his iconic wide-body cars for itswhitenoise. As it is custom, he picked the car's name and decided to call it "Brooklyn", because of the owner's origins. Hence the RWB Brooklyn build! Here is a summarized video of the full 3 days it took Akira Nakai-San to build the car with nothing but his hands and a few metal tools, cutting in the car.
Music: "Orange" by Topher Mohr and Alex Elena
MORE VIDEOS COMING SOON !!!
Filmed with a Sony HDR CX700
Enjoy!

I like how everything is nice and flush, great quality and effort. I would love it have him work on a car like that (if I had a Porsche) loll
That was great fun to watch it and see it driving after all that work done to it!
+Nigel De Wallens Thanks so much for the nice comment dude! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Indeed, it was a pretty interesting process to witness, and I enjoyed every minute. Culmination being seeing the car driving :D
+alexsmolik My pleasure and I am sure it was for you too :) Well take care and I cannot wait for your next vlog!

incredible! you can tell this man is a true artist not just by seeing his work but even when he is taking a break he always looks like he is thinking about how or what to do next
KERNOW88 he not an artist. He's merely bolting on some wide fenders. Not art.
@@michelevitarelli He designed them himself, if that's not art the eifel tower's not art. Word.
@@spaceboy9329 the Eiffel tower is not art. It's a steel structure engineered to stand using minimal parts.
Insane build one of my favourites. The limits of akiri nakai San are endless. Great job on the video Alex.
+Adam Midghall Thanks a lot Adam! I'm glad you enjoyed the video! It really is pretty insane to see him working. His process of creation is quite unique!
+alexsmolik will you be at the goodwood fos this year. Would be great to hopefully meet you and have a chat
+Adam Midghall In theory, I should be there, yes! So... Maybe see you there! Those big events are usually really hard to meet people haha! You know everyone is there, but it's not easy to catch everyone!
alexsmolik yes that's true. hope I will bump into you as I am there for all 3 days

Whatta BEAUTIFUL Porsche you HAVE 👍
Masterpiece
The best I've ever seen and I've seen some awesome finishes. I wish I could give you my car to work wonders on it.
I'm sure Akira Nakai would do the honours !
The Brooklyn is pretty cool. Rather "discrete" and not too crazy !
super schöner 911er ! Nakai ´s Arbeit....ist schon für Europäer eher... untypisch. Er wirkt manchmal etwas..."egal" und kühl....aber die Ergebnisse seiner RWB Porsche... sind doch alle nur GEIL !! GRATULATION NAKAI !
Master at Work.
bel lavoro.....macchina stupendaaaaaa😍😍😍😍😍
Awesome video! Truly and honor and treat to have the opportunity to share our RWB Brooklyn build with you. It would not have been nearly as amazing without you being part of the family!!!
+Andrew Zalasin Thanks man! It was an incredible experience for me, and as I said many times, also a "first"! I don't think many people in the world can say they've had the privilege of witnessing an RWB build and the birth of a new car! Thanks for everything!!! :-)
alexsmolik
+alexsmolik Great video of the build and the car getting shaken out. Thanks for posting it!!!
+Justin Jadunath Thanks for your comment, glad you enjoyed this little "resume" of the 3 days spent building the car!
good work
Very nice in Italy is BESTIALE good job
Respect.
The Japanese have so much class no matter what they do.
awesome vid, wish i woulda stopped by.
+bryan vicquery You should've ! I basically talked about it for a whole week haha! Follow me on Social Media to know all the latest stuff, if you want (no obligation lol - just so you don't miss it in the near future!)!
Holy hell... who painted that car? Please let us know so we never deal with those people.
Adding the cocking or whatever it is, does that help seal the kit?
The rear tire width make the car look like a damn cartoon.
Any idea the gauge or where you can buy the mesh he uses for the grills on his builds?
looks like a Honda Goldwing trike from the back.... just say'n
Grinding sheet metal without eye protection? That's what carelessness looks like..
Haha. He had some at some point
Does he rivet those fenders on/?
When you can do the entire build on the floor with 5 tools you might think your not doing something of quality.
Try hammer welding on a set of hand made metal flares and after 8hrs a piece you can understand what quality is......and it isn't this but quality isn't what people want.
If you knew anything about quality metal work you would know exactly what I'm talking about. But you dont!
does that wide-body kit just adds extra weight and makes the turning circle larger than necessary?
yes
what exact model is that porsche
Doesn't look right from the back in my opinion. Great from the side and and front.
same
Tim Tursonoff ...too freaking wide. half the width might be ok. installing spacers to compensate the width will damage the hub bearings very quickly.
John Whodat i dont think there are any spacers, just very deep rims.
Yeah the rear wing is too small. Fat car needs a fat wing
Was the side skirts not on the car?
love these alloys.....but why do his Porsches command such a high price when olenty of shops can do what he does ?
What is the tool Nakai uses to grid the fenders and smooth'em out?
Juan Chaparro some variation of a file sander
Best part car is the California plates lol!
I want 😍😍😍😍😍
he's treating these porches like they're an origami project or some shit
no wing?
too wide for the style of this particular car. Id rather have one of Nakai's other builds that are more aggressive. for example the first one he made in atlanta or his personal one that was also built in ATL.
RWB cult.
What about corrosion protection?
At the holes, the screws make?
At the edges, he cuts?
Why does he glue everything together?
Which other specs does the car have?
HP?
Suspension?
Weight?
THIS MAKES ME SO ANGRY; I JUST WANT TO BUY A STOCK 911, PUT IT IN MY GARAGE AND KEEP IT COVERED FOR 40 YEARS AND THEN WHEN I DIE I WANT IT TO BE GIVEN TO MY THANKLESS GRANDSON WHO WILL INEVITABLY PUT IT ON CRAIGSLIST. THAT'S WHAT YOU SHOULD DO WITH A CAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHHHHH
2 wide for my taste
NeverStock that’s cuz u ain’t got none
Justin Quilit That doesn't make sense. He said too wide for his taste, even he got one he just doesn't like it.
Where is your porsche tho? If not your opinion can drive up where the sun dont shine
@@mohamedansar8432 what an idiot
every other angle looks awesome except if you at it straight from the back. lol
every video is the same.. wow what a designer lets ride him
Hey Alex, I've been seeing you around a lot more recently in videos from Shmee, Seb, James and the rest of that lot. Glad to finally subscribe to you :D quick question, what was the other RWB there? the white one. or rather, which RWB was it or whose was it?
+Hariz Wan Deen (Wan Hariz Wan Sazrudeen) Its the RWB Hollywood1 -
+Andrew Zalasin 😱😱😱 I didn't expect YOU to answer me Andrew. Thank you 😁 and congratulations on Brooklyn, it looks amazing. Can't wait to see Elizabeth and yourself's full line-up of Porsches; 2.7, RWB, GT3, GT4, Spyder, C GT, 918 😭 your life is my dreams, and I hope to one day reach what you've accomplished
+Hariz Wan Deen (Wan Hariz Wan Sazrudeen) Thank you - We very fortunate - coming from a working class family teaches you a lot - keep working hard and always stay optimistic :-)
What's the music called? Great Video Alex!
+TheDevineKoi Hey man, glad you liked it! The music is from the CZcams audio library. It's called "Orange" by Topher Mohr and Alex Elena !
+alexsmolik thanks for interacting in the comments so much! I always love to see you do that :) how can someone not like the combination of rwb, seb and you ;D
+TheDevineKoi Haha you're welcome. I do my best to try and reply to everyone! Mostly on CZcams considering it's where I now have less activity (compared to back in the days)! It's only fair! And yeah, I had a great time with Seb & Itswhitenoise & Zalasin & everyone! It was simply unforgettable experience!
Obviously this is one very polarizing RWB build. If the owner is satisfied and happy with his ride when he or she goes out cruising, then it was worth it. When the car is out on the streets or seen in video, then it becomes subject to public opinion. No rocket science here. Sorry though, I'm with the folks that think the rear end is overdone (the emperor's new clothes?). Not speaking about Nakai's work. An RWB build along the lines of Philly #1 would have been superlative, especially in black.
Who's the kid and where his parents that shipped him from Germany?
Rough World.
Call me a hater all you want, I really think a less aggressive wide body would have looked so much more practical and better proportioned as well.
+Tyler Padgett i see where you're coming from
but after all its Nakai's rough style that got famous
and plus I've seen his non-wide RWBs, they look good
+Major Kushanagi Don't get me wrong the work looks flawless just a little too aggressive for my taste. I like most of his cars. Sawing on those stock fenders would make me feel uneasy. lol
+Tyler Padgett She (itswhitenoise) has a 2.7 rs, oem, so she already has a normal everyday use porsche, this is the special one.
Tyler Padgett ... grossly wide.
Love the boldness.
I thought his name was akira nakai
60mph speed limit . don't get it.what is the Point ????
Isn't this on Facebook ??
+Brdgaming Yes, it is as well! I post my videos both on Facebook & on CZcams (which is where I started my whole car thing)! :)
Not a pair of safety glasses in sight...
If I put Chicken Netting on my car with a glue and spray paint that shit, they will call me a ricer. If he does it and charge $$$ for it, it's a Craftsmanship. I guess I am just one of those haters.
You're right!!!! Fucking right...
Dont like spacers on the weels,.
And the engine still has the same problems, pistons sometimes melt, the engine didnt improved...
这套宽体外观套件价格不菲
black spray paint grill... is that going to last?
Well, almost 2 years later and ... it has ! :P
really! black spraypaint and what about that caulk between the seems! do a followup video!
can yo udo a followup video?
its a video of seb delanney
+Ali Neuf cinq lol. That's actually quite funny! So thanks for making me chuckle :P
+alexsmolik So sorry i mean Seb Delannay and you made the same video on the same subject
+Ali Neuf cinq Haha no worries man. Yeah we both were there to watch the car being built from scratch! It was very cool, and completely new for me as well. Learned quite a lot of things. And seeing the big boss Nakai simply doing his magic... priceless
BEURK !!!!
duck tails all the way
LOVE THEMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm......
Có mỗi 1 loại xe và mỗi 1 loại body kit. Làm miết. Chẳng có gì mới mẻ cả
RWB>DPW= Destroying Porsches around the World.
I dont like that they are cutting the perfectly fine porshe
Nah, I'm a fan of wide 911's but this one is overdone way to much. From behind it reminds me of a childs bicycle with training wheels on it. That green one with the gold wheels he made was looking better imo
The 2.1 RSR Turbo was that wide and it was from Porsche themself ! I think it looks good
The rear wheels are too damn wide. Hell, why not just put 2, 13inch tires side by side. Looks like a John Deer Tractor. I would look at that on my streets and say to myself. The owner is "trying" too hard.
You can't do nothing with it, you can't track it, drag race it you can't even bring it through the canyons. It's just a show car, anyone mechanically inclined can build one of his care. Front and rear bumper cover side skirts and space out the wheels. Having good craftsmanship would take cutting the quarters and feeders and then doing crazy sheet metal work so if you ever have to take a flare off someone isn't totally horrified. You can't do work like that that's why it only takes two days. Take the back tire off and you can see the whole side of the engine. Take your front wheel off and you can take shit out of the trunk???????
Jordan Berry actually you can track it pretty well, there is this thing called idlers, they organize race at motegi twin ring, there are tons of rwb’s racing there.

I dont get it. All he does is place a fiberglass wide fenders and few little things. And he does it the ricer way. Porsches are perfect as is ,why ruin a beautiful thing???
So basically, this guy is a ricer for Porsche?
David R This isn't rice :P
and u a comment ricer
better than a singer
Holy shit so many fuckin haters on this video lmao, all these mechanics mad this dudes makin bank modding porsches while they're still strugglin xD
cutting fenders in those 911 make me cringe :((((
That colour change some point in the past if of immensely poor quality, you can still see red in the wheel arches. please get a proper job done.
too wide
Destroys Porsches 😞
Nope!
What the hell? Where's the big wang? An RWB with no wang isn't an RWB!
Lotsa $$$$$. For what?
Nakai-San is living a dream... destroying Porsches around the world and getting paid by rich asses who wants to make a video on CZcams just to show off. Poor 911s.
I'm askin myself if he maybe thinks about it the same way. it's not even high quality work, because he cuts every car after the paintjob. Does he even care about rust? He even did it to RUFs what is even more terrible. Like easiest way to ruin a supersportscar...
Ronny Kauffmann if you check out other builds he repaints all the cut metal with the colour paint of the car and seals the bolts. Theres so much more in the finishing that the cameras rarely show as they more often than not just focus on the big changes. watching a guy meticulously paint some metal and carefully fix bolts isnt interesting to most, people just like the flashy.
A crappy Earl Scheib paint job with Orange peal all over that poor butchered and boogered up Porsche!
Man, he...
(didn't even spray the inner fenders black to match the E'ing car and you could see RED in the inner fender wells! ) and the fit and finish looks like his was having a VERY bad day with all of those gaps.
Esteban A. Gaido; you're 100% RIGHT!
I loved what you had to say:
"Nakai-San is living a dream... destroying Porsches around the world and getting paid by rich asses who wants to make a video on CZcams just to show off. Poor 911s."
Can you Just imagine how many more he's gonna bugger and banzi up before it's all said and done?
Who cares you can't even afford the kit let alone the car.
How to destroy German Quality .... Jesus Christ...
Pour les voitures, perso, c'est comme pour une femme, si son cul est trop gors, je ne trouve pas cela joli ;)
Whoever requested this build ruined rwb wtf is this
All show and no go. Lame.
i don't understand this fad. it's a shame what they're doing to all these classic cars. if you feel the need to cut up a car, go get a ford escort and knock yourself out. they've done nothing to improve these 911s. they've simple chosen the path to be different for the sake of being different.
Sucks to suck
Akira Nakai-San turns these cars into legends. That's what means the video.
SOMEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeeee.... Can just NOT(!!!) FEEL a (HEART-)BEAT !!!..
(Thinking I speak for OVER 80% of RWB LOVERS...:)
WE(!!!) Nakai San's FAMILY of RWB PURISTSSSsss..,
are GLAD....... "Not Everyone CAN afford THESE"..
IFFFF YOU DID.., YOU would BE WITH... """US/WE/YOU/YourSELF"""..... ;-)
- And WHAT would your Partner say..???...
;-)
..... NEXT ....
In my opinion Nakai is ruining these cars.
His work is subject to a lot of debate, that's for sure !
wtf how can you do that to a porsche....mexican tunning is better done
I like the look of RWB, but the craftsmanship level here is just elementary. What a hack job. No paint matching and clearcoat polishing? No bare metal protection and spray painting chicken wire? Sliding the new parts across the floor? I can’t believe people pay money for their cars to be trashed like this. At least do it with some respect to the car, like singer 911s... carbon fiber, not fiberglass. Beautifully reupholstered... after watching this I’m not such a fan of RWB anymore. If you think it’s cool to do shit work like that you’ve obviously never done anything involving skill to your vehicle... it’s a shame because the RWB designs are so cool looking.
Crappy car. It doesn't look like a Porsche anymore.
really ricered up a good car
It's the same thing over and over: a plastic kit bolted onto your car with the seams filled with black caulk. I don't know why you would need to have some Japanese guy do this for you. They charge you $22k for a bunch of tupperware and then you have to pay this guy to come and stick them on. What a scam. I'm sure you could have any body shop do it. Why you would fuck up a 993 like this is beyond me, anyway. You are spending a ton to make your car worth less.
bellboy407 the funny thing with what you said is you just described a lotus evora, some plastic stuck together with caulk and glue haha. that applies to alot of cars these days (thecaulk not so much)
You say scam because you can't afford the kit or the car, so why ya bitchin?
100% WITH YOU """Winterssss..., SaterrrDay!"""..
