Paraguay can be pretty broken, since you can core what feels like half of Latam. Just go communist when the event fires, then declare on Brazil & Argentine via the focus, and refuse the white peace.

As Czechoslovakia annex Slovenia and form Czechoslovenia, while Yugoslavia annex Slovakia and forms Yugoslovakia, both of them remaining independent and in the same faction by the start of ww2.
The catch is, you must be the faction leader.

Side not on the untied kingdoms focus, it does work on historical if your relations or diplomatic pressure is high enough

Yeah I got it on historical after improving relations. It reset my flag from the Imperial one to democratic one which was boring tbh.

It's allll about naval invasions in SA nowadays. You can take out most places as they typically have 1 good VP on the coast and the countries seem to have had a naval boost

That’s funny, I did one Brazil run to try out the new DLC and I had Portugal accept and become my puppet with historical ai focuses and Ironman on so once I absorbed them I got the achievement.

Stacking the Range and Agility bonuses makes Heavy Fighters have insane range to reach everything, and since heavy fighters have more Equip slots you can give them a bunch of rocket Rails for really good Fighter/Bombers Loved that with my Brazil game
Going Strategic Bombing side allows you to get 2 years ahead research for Nuclear research.

I don’t remember exactly what I did but on my first play through with Brazil I managed to get rid of the cangaco without the stability event ever happening
hi, Played brazil for first time and got the unification on regular historical, I just improved my relations to max with them. Maybe I got lucky but it did work for me

2. Sometimes you have to reload for nations to join properly.

Don't feel bad about peru. I lost 600k men to Paraguay as Argentina because mountaineers and infantry can't break riverlines, and I'm pretty sure they were on Grand Battleplan. It felt even worse when I researched tanks and broke their entire army with one division.
Since you can take all your cores without the Allies joining, it would be interesting to see you justify against Spain from Portugal and make Europe one big Brazilian colony.

If you go democratic, you can get North American as a MIO - a ranged focus MIO. You will have tacs that can probably rival strats for range.
Edit: As it turns out, those ranges that get added to the national spirit don't work. I think the spirit is broken.
