Thank you for taking the time to make this video. The Norwegian countryside is stunning and it’s great to see a stock monkey with no stupid noisy exhaust fitted.
Regards warren 🇬🇧
Agreed. What is it with people the first thing they do is make noise?
Spot on!
jess i stil have the ori mufler on only mod is a 14t front sproket ,
and i get always a 50km/liter.
i am now on 15000km havent seen a big bore kit that is dependeble.
Back in 2019 i bought the new banana yellow one....there were no real after marked parts yet, only the Yoshimura rs3.....well i bought that thing to but holy moly what a load of noise right into my helmet 🙊 its nice for 15 minutes but its way more fun with the stock exhaust
Great video. Beautiful Norway I' ve been there 🙏 I have the same Monkey and did allready 21000 kilometers with a hugh smile from ear to ear . Its all about the journey and the fun you have, not the destination ! Greetings from the Netherlands everyone ❤️🙏
Total legend!!! Bike sounds and looks lovely!!
Goes to show you DO NOT need a monster Africa Twin to enjoy motorcycling! thanks for posting this great video!
Beautiful, thank you, God bless you
My god, this is the most peaceful, awesome video of a man, a motorcycle, and an epic voyage. I love it. I've wanted a banana-yellow monkey for just such a trip in Utah, myself. Awesome work.
It's difficult to add anything more. I watched your movie with satisfaction - Honda Monkey in use, your adventure and beautiful nature around. Thanks Torvald!
I’m looking at one of these Monkeys. I’m sold now. 👍from 🇨🇦
Please keep your videos about the ride like this one, great video of the beauty of the trip.
I agree, it was great to hear the sound of the Monkey and the sound of nature…
Nice video just as it should be peace and quiet
Good day to you !
I am HONDA Cross Cub Grandpa from Japan and enjoy camping.
This video is so great with Monkey camping !
The heavy cargo loading style is so established !!
I hope you keep on this Monkey touring video series !!

Great ride, thank you for taking me along.
Great Video of relaxed solo traveling. You got my like already for your „TopCase“ 😊 This is not looking like these professional PottaPorti others are transporting. Thanks for sharing. Keep it rolling 👍
Love this ! Greetings from the ozark mountains of Missouri USA
Few years ago I did travelling in Finland with 2/stroke Vespa PX150 and later PX200. Scenery is exactly like in Finland untill you see the big mountains in Norway. Norway is such a beautiful country. I have seen the fjords from Trondheim to Tromså. People are very friendly. I have banana yellow 2022 monkey here in Australia. Thanks for a relaxing video.
I really enjoyed this. Good job.
Sometimes you say it best when you say nothing at all.
There’s a lot of CZcamsrs, myself included, that could learn a lot from watching this video.
👍🏻👍🏻
Beautiful peaceful nature, free roaming cows and lambs just made me smile, and for a short time forget the chaos of today. Thank you🙂
Honda Rebel rider here. I have enjoyed ur vid!! What a epic ride!!
Amazing journey and beautiful scenery. This makes me want a Trail, Dax or Monkey :)
Great video! It makes me want to buy one of these! A local dealer in WI has a use one and it's priced more than a new one because they are in such short supply in the U.S. Thanks for sharing!
Nice trip,great relaxed style
Oh wow, that yellow club mate crate is on point. I think I'm getting the setup exactly like this one day!
Watching from USA California. Great video friend! Cant stay off of my Monkey.
Same same its just fun !
Recently I met accidently guy from Seattle, he was pulling ordinary bicycle with travel bags fitted on. Whats not so ordinary is that he was cycling from Norway (his father was born there) over europe up to Croatia.
Yep😂 if i' m riding home after a trip......i just wanna ride again and keep going 💪
flott video, takk. Norge er så vakkert!

Well..... ofcourse not 😂 this is a real fun bike only invented for....having a great time.If you cant enjoy this cutie you re not a fun person ! People traveled the world on Honda Cubs 70 cc so this 125 power house will do the job too and bring you anywhere you want. This awesome video is proof that enjoying life us just a matter of putting your helmet on and go ! Beautiful scenery and excellent video. Thanks for sharing, Hi from holland ❤🙏
Så bra, storslått og minimalististk❤

A big adventure on a tiny bike: top!
greetings from Norway, i newly owned a skyteam dax but its only 50cc for now just for me to learn how to gear, i was looking for a moped for my size 5,2 hgt, i tried susuki fz and it fits to me but i choose moped with gear to learn it. now im checking skyteam 125cc. when i saw that beer case im laughing so hard because i saw one like this on susuki fz too and my husband want me to use on my moped😅. this video is inspiring.

Much fun on a Honda Monkey
nice job
Good video! Regards from Berlin, Ralf
Ang galing mo gumawa ng video, 👍👍👍👍
Nice landscape you're riding on! I also have a banana yellow little Monkey from 2019 and the best roads are the ones just like yours. I live in Estonia, unfortunately we don't have such great mountains here as in Estonia, but little hills and slopes are nice too. How does your bike cope with the gear on the back?
Kul.
You're so talented and cute!!

That's what Monkey is.
Live a good monkey life!
I don't feel envious.

👍🎉
Hah, found your videos, looks like you got some sunny days as well! What an adventure you got there. Take care!🌧⛰🏍
For en herlig film og tur. Man må jo bare elske Monkey.
Ok. I've changed my mind. very cool...lol
👍
I agree with "@warrenr4" Thank you for taking the time to make this video. The Norwegian countryside is stunning and it’s great to see a stock monkey with no stupid noisy exhaust fitted. May i ask how many Km this trip took in total? Thanks in advance. Kind and warm regards.
Thanks! I _think_ maybe around 400km.
Perfect!! I too have plans to travel on a 125cc motorcycle. Was going to buy the Honda Super cub 125 but it would cost me around 4.300 euros!
My budget was 3.500 euros max. I studied the rest of the bikes on the market and came across the Zontes G1 125 Scrambler which comes with many extras, and is good for road and gravel roads. Heard some good things about it so I ended up buying that one. I should get it in a couple of days!!
Great video, beautiful areas too. You can't go wrong with the Honda Monkey!! Thanks for sharing 👍
The gas mileage is great on 125cc engines right?!
Take care.
The monkey does about 0.3L/km on normal roads, but on the gravel, when you're not blasting full revs anyway, I averaged on about 0.15L/km! Albeit the monkey got a 5L tank, that does indeed get you a long way!
Safe trips!
Are you satisfied with Zontes G1 125 Scrambler? I also want to buy Zontes. How high is real consumption?
@@atas_rider Hi there, getting the last of the paperwork finished, here in Spain it takes forever!! So I should be getting my G1 tomorrow (I hope)
I didn't believe it myself but a friend has the G1 125 and he was able to get 895 kilometers on one tank!
I guess it can vary though, depending on your style of riding.
I'm still thinking that the mileage will be excellent 👌.
Having a 20 liter gas tank on the G1 will be very helpful when traveling!
Good luck, with your adventures in the future and safe riding....
Thought similar but wanted to spend even less on a used motorcycle. Unfortunately used 125 are quite expensive so it became a Suzuki freewind, which was even cheaper then a Yamaha TW125, which was my favourite then.
so you had to go turn on your camera then go back into the tent then come out of tent.... Dude... you really don't need to go through all that. taking a monkey on a trip like this is perfect.
Great video! how tall are you?
This winter i will go to the nordkapp naked and blindfolded on my unicycle!
Thats a deal ☝️
Great movie! 😀
One question about the setup. The bottle case, was it really any help?
(Looks to make the bike unnecessary top heavy, since you have a big bag and good straps, the case might not be needed.)
🙏 A perfectly legitimate question! The answer is simple; no, not very helpful. 😅 Strictly for show. But it's always mounted, and in downtown Oslo it's very nice to have. More pictures here instagram.com/monkey_tripper/
@@torvaldl ok, good. ;)
And I have no doubt it is very useful for everyday use around town. Like going to get another 6pack and such. ;)
Great. You really put a lot of work into the scenes.👍👍 Is it allowed to light fires in the forest in your country? And camping and riding a motorcycle through the forest? In my country (Germany) this is not the case.
An open fire is not permitted through the summer months, but portable stoves are allowed throughout the year. As for riding in the forest; you can only ride on public roads, but most of Norway is forest, so it usually a situation you'll find yourself in sooner or later. (-: These roads are purposeful chosen as they are part of the Trans Euro Trails (transeurotrail.org/norway/), they are a mix of public roads and private roads (where as landowners have permitted motorcycles explicitly or you pay a small fee to cross their roads, usually semi automatic or self serviced checkpoints). Check out transeurotrail.org/germany/#5.16/54.838/10.915 - it does look like you can be able to find some unpaved roads north in Germany.
@@torvaldl Thank you for the detailed answer❤. Good luck and God bless on your journeys.👍🙏
im just thinking how did he put the cameras to film him while his driving
I wonder how many fuel capacity has this bike five day trip and no refuelling 🤔
🙏🇧🇩
We like at a lot. Let’s travel with your monkey again, we are waiting :)
