This video is so necessary today, on the eevee day! I got lucky with a shiny berry finder(10lv) eevee with skill down(naive, also exp up). Will have to decide between umbreon and glaceon!

I feel like the extra helpful skill could be better at higher levels like for example if it got x7 or x9 on a berry specialist could be good. But yeah in that particular case a Raichu with Berry Finding S would definitely be better. Also, really really loved this video. Great tips I think everyone could use when it comes to choosing an eeveelution.
But then Charge Strength M at higher level also goes brrr?
We need to compare the numbers to be sure.
True, for a level 50 Raichu, each Grepa berry would be worth 100. So 7 grepa berries = 700, rather a charge S or M are fixed. This extra helpful one scales with level. Good point!
@Safyris yes that's also true. Higher pokemon level and higher skill level will stack it all even higher. Just a matter of, how high? x9 on raichu is 18 berries (1800 strength?)
Charge strength M at level 4 is 2300.

@Bropenings So if grepa was the berry of the week, then at that point Extra Helpful would be better than Charge Strength M. I also wonder if Raichu would drop ingredients too, also if the current energy level of Raichu would make a difference or not.
Thanks for the thorough breakdown! I ended up choosing Vaporeon as my first Eeveelution. Partly because it's been one of my favourite Pokemon ever since I was a kid, lol. But also because I find having a Skills specialist with Ingredient Magnet is great for keeping my ingredient flow more consistent on Cyan Beach.
That said, I have two more Eevees waiting in the wings right now, and I really wasn't sure what to evolve them into up to now. One of them is Calm nature (Main Skill Chance up, Speed of Help down). So, after watching this video, I'm guessing the best build for that Eevee would be something like Espeon or Sylveon that can focus more on using its skill than on berry farming or ingredient gathering. The other Eevee is a neutral nature, but it has Skill Trigger M at level 10 and Ingredient Finder S at level 25. So again, probably Sylveon or Espeon would be good for that I'm guessing?
Again, thanks for the tips! Also, pour one out for all the Leafeon fans out there. :( Hopefully they release an area with Durin as one of the favourite berries in the future. I'd love that for all the Grass types in my box as well.
I would say you're on the right track! However without seeing each pokemon in full stats (you can use our discord #rate-my-mon if you want us to help analyze) I cannot tell you for sure.
I have a nice Skill-focused Sylveon. It uses its skill 2 to 3 times per day!
I think skill-focused Sylveon is the best healer in the game atm.

Digging this Sylveon I caught today! Energy recovery, Berry Finding, research bonus
Thats not bad. The energy recovery bonus is only for sleep not skill though.

From what I calculate to Extra Helpfull be a good skill you need to have strong team late game. If you have 50-60 level pokemon than every berry can give ~250 power while favorite. Procing it 8-9 times can give you 24-27 berries for 6000-6750 power boost. But right now, when we are in early game is quite weak.
Altho if you have it at level 2 (from evolving eevee), leveling it up from 5x to 9x is not that big of a deal. Not like Charge Streanght M on Espeon who get ~3,5 times boost from level 2 to 6.
There's a lot of conditions for Extra Helpful to be good, especially needing a very strong team "late game". But arguably lots of good late game skills like expand pot. Beating Charge Strength M is one thing, but does it beat Berry Finding S berry specialist that it is taking a slot from? Does it beat slowpoke tail that it is taking a slot from?
It's also Extra Unhelpful when it triggers the skill on itself.
Skill specialists seem to be relatively weak in this game compared to other specialists (exception is E4E healers) generally speaking. They make for good team fillers or niche situations.
Some people did note that Extra Helpful can also trigger a skill on another mon, but that's yet to be confirmed.
In my opinion, i would recommend focusing on ingredient type or skill-helping-meal type pokemon.
In case your team has a good ingredient pokemon, you will full your bag easily (my team has 2 ing mons = gangar and victreebel lv30 and I struggle with 500 full all the time). I will recommend to all-in all meals for the long-term progression because it increases the meal lv. The berry type team will make the best result for the week, but not for the long run.

Just got a shiny Eevee who has a yellow subskill in exp gain, but his nature has -Ingrediant gathering. I already have a Vaporeon who just reached lv30, a Sylveon who's getting close to 30 and a Flareon who's about 14. I'm getting close to unlocking the 4th area and I'm not sure what I actually need, besides not needing Jolteon since I have a Raichu
Eevee candies being spread over 3 or more eeveelutions will leave each of them underlevelled. I normally would suggest using wiggly over sylveon to save eevee candies but you're past that now. You already have flareon and if it's good then u might not want glaceon (unless u want to perform better at snowdrop). Can't really give any more advice without seeing your entire team building and stats.
I got an Eevee with Berry finding S this morning.
It gets Skill Level up S and Skill Trigger S after that. The nature is neutral.
So it gets no extra helping speed but it's a mix of farming and skill focused.
I'm so torn on what to turn it into!
It's currently between Sylveon and Umbreon for me, I think. Hmmm.
Glaceon/Flareon would be my choice because of lack of farming units for taupe & snowdrop.
Sylveon is better than wiggly imo, but wiggly is easy to invest whereas Sylveon will take your Eevee candies away from another Eeveelution you could use the candies for.
Umbreon is quite focused on farming Snowdrop if you prefer that, but Glaceon will have general use with pot-increasing main skill.

^That is definitely true. I also have a really good Magnemite for that, but his berry is of course not any of the Snorlax' default favorites. Hmmm decisions! I appreciate your input!

I got lucky today and found a shiny eevee, but I have no idea if it’s skills are good. It has Blue Helping Speed M, Helping Speed S and Ingredient Finder S for level 10, 25 and 50 respectively. Should I bother evolving and if so which eeveelution would you recommend? ^^
This is a very complex discussion and depends on your needs and game progression. Vaporeon is top tier but if you are planning to get a slaking they will clash in their roles, for example. I can recommend that you watch my advanced eeveelutions guides though.

@@Bropenings Awesome tysm ^^ Im not planning on getting a Slaking at the moment, I am currently leveling a jigglypuff, Raichu, and Haunter. Im also planning on evolving my squirtle too, so I may end up evolving it into a Slyveon or Vaporeon just because I like the shinies lol
@@ToucanTalons I'd advised against sylveon if you already plan to have wiggly and eventually gardevoir. Too many mons for the same role and limited skill seeds to invest.

got a mild shiny eevee.. sadly all the ingredients are all moomoo milks lol. Energy recovery, inventory up S, sleep exp bonus, ingredients finder S and skill lvl up M.. What do you think is a good option for this? Was thinking about sylveon but seems like it doesnt match well.
It doesn't sound very good at all. No Skill Trigger and no BFS/HB.

@watarukun9262 yeah it's not bad. First skill is not as good as all the rest. Nature is mid.
9:15 i use Wigglytuff on my team (they go to sleep with ~50% energy). Using Umbreon would be such a waste. I love Umbreon, but sleeping 150 hours with eevee to get just decent berry specialist that skill dont boost Snorlax power (as its just make him good berry specialist) is not worth it.
I realy dont respect Umbreon in pokemon sleep :/
The good news, is you can sleep the 150 hours at snowdrop where the eevee is fave berry for, and then evolve to umbreon if that's what you want.
I chose a Glaceon bc its my favorite pokemon lol

My Eevee has ingredient finding. Which eeveelution is best for ingredient finding?
All eeveelutions have same ingredient options. Perhaps higher speed is what you want if you're short on the ingredient dropped by your eevee. But the question is, why not use an ingredient specialist instead of eevee?
How about an eevee with Skill Level Up M and Berry Finding S as its first 2 subskills? :)
Without knowing what the rest of the stats are, that would make a good f2p eeveelution.

@jimbosantiago there are too many variables to answer over 1-2 comments. You need to consider what areas you need to build teams for. No point evolving one you don't use even if it's good.

Is this still viable with the newest update?
Of course with Lapis Lakeside release Leafeon and Espeon are more useful. However berry typing can be covered by Meganium.
No berry specialist for psychic so Espeon is viable for BFS espeon.
Is there a TLDR?
Yeah there is. But becareful tldr may not cover situations applying to your eevee
**So in summary which Eeveelution should you pick?**
1 - Berry Finding S,, go for Flareon if you need a Taupe Hollow member, Umbreon or Glaceon if you want to build a Snowdrop Tundra team. Otherwise consider all the factors I explained above. If none of the discussion points seem to matter to you that much, then you just have to accept that Eeveelutions aren't necessarily the *best* at anything, but more of a filler for things you're missing.
2 - Skill-focussed, go for Sylveon or Espeon.

Man, I just evolved my Eevee to Leafeon yesterday 😅
Everything is still mostly just my opinion based on what we know so far. As I learn more about the game, my opinion has altered time and time again. Maybe there's a hidden secret I just don't understand about Leafeon. Don't lose hope xD
Wait.... so even "if" someone got their pokemon to level 50, they can't get them any higher even if they have the candy and dream shards to level them higher? Why even have the level 75 and 100 skills listed then? That's really silly of the game to do that.
It's common for games to level cap to prevent whales from achieving crazy feats while the rest of the player base are behind. This is a way for companies to keep bringing back their retired players when they unlock the level caps, release further features etc...
It's probably more of a monetary reason than anything. Having said that, it keeps the entire base generally more active which is nice I think. Separating the p2w from f2p too much is not a good thing.
