Found a version from the same tour with better vocals. Definitely deserves a watch. • Erra - Vanish Canvas (... LEVELER 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TOUR Recorded with iPhone 11 Pro
Idk what people are complaining about. I love Jesse's vocals here. Sure they are not studio perfect, but they are pretty decent. And pretty impressive taking into account he's playing some hard ass guitar parts simultaneously.
I can't even imagine hearing this live. I would simply ascend. Must admit the cleans are not so good, but it's a damn hard song to sing, especially while playing.
Random question. But does anyone know if they are doing meet and greets after their set? I want to meet Jesse and JT really bad. But I am not sure with covid
I was at this show. I’d say he played half the set. He wasn’t on the stage during the middle chunk of the set. Re: not being on the tour, that’s incorrect. I think he missed a few dates, but if you flip through vids for a lot of the dates, he’s there.
I love this band so much, but man I wish Jesse was a better singer live. He was so pitchy in parts it’s all you can really focus on. It’s definitely less noticeable in person, but man...this is not a good vocal performance.
He has been. Listen to this and then listen to him Live during the Neon album. He's gotten way better. I saw them live like 2 weeks ago and he sounded angelic.
bro jesse's always sounds so bad. He naturally doesn't have a good voice and he writes parts for himself that he cannot achieve live, while trying to play moderately engaging riffs during these crazy high vocal notes. Fanboys who have never sung or played an instrument in their life will suck him off, and call me a hater, but it's true. They sound horrible live. Saw them twice. Jesse is the best metalcore or "djent" riff-writer alive right now though. Guitar is his strong suit. Not attempting Ariana Grande range while playing intricate riffs.
Are you deaf? The only one here that needs some work is Jesse with his cleans. But that's it. Everything else sounds like the album. But even then if you heard Jesse live during Neon he was unbearable. Now he's at least decent. He's belting out High notes better live then even the dude from Periphery
@@vagrantender lmao better than Spencer? I love ERRA but Spencer is on a whole different league as a vocalist live, listen to Marigold live in London and tell me this is better than that lmao.
I'm mad at both y'alls comments. How could you compare this to a band like periphery? They suck live and in studio for the most part. No way I'd ever see periphery live again how underwhelming of an experience that was. Dance Gavin dance wasn't too good either. I guess they're all getting older, it happens
ERRA is versatile, don't need dick-kicking songs every second. Vanish Canvas slaps teeth regardless, but they also have Scorpion Hymn on the setlist if you need to hear something heavier.

This fucking song just breaks my heart in a good way. Just so fucking good!
damn JT"s vocals are so clean live
I'm so glad this is part of their set
Same! I see them in mid October and I want them to play this so bad!
I can't even imagine hearing this live. I would simply ascend. Must admit the cleans are not so good, but it's a damn hard song to sing, especially while playing.
The cleans live now are way better then he was before live. Shows that he's been practicing very hard for live shows
he was spot on in Berkeley but to be fair it was one of the smaller venues on this tour
playing and singing is hard tbf
Really beautiful song
sheees those screams are so clean!! The prononciation is crazy
ikr
We're waking up out of this coma!!
🙏😭❤️
Such a beautiful song. A trascendental experience hearing this live, I assume.
It was life changing tbh
more erra plssssss 🙏🙏🙏
I love the singers snack vest. I bet he has some tasty snacks in those pockets.

Is Dustin playing with them their entire set?
sean just recently got married, so i imagine he may not be on tour
@@mattmo8648 probably on his honeymoon

I feel like they should hire Courtney LaPlante for the vocals on tour, Jesse is fucking struggling with the multitasking bro...

I love this song but jessie needs to improve his live vocals. Sure playing and singing is hard but oh man

I love erra, but they sound terrible in concert.

Seems like a very boring song live.

How so? All the fans in sight are clearly enjoying themselves
I don't know what you mean, no one here does.
