I love seeing that you posted I genuinely get happy. When you started questioning your sexuality you and your friend explored it together my friend just kissed me and we never spoke again the difference between us.

Tb to when my girlfriend held a grudge against me for a year because I told her I was bisexual and she thought that I was into guys more. And she made me feel like a piece of shit for it for a while. Kind of my fault I didn’t tell her for a year and a half. But at that point I’d only told one other person. We’re good now.

I'd say more masculine men Henry cavill , Michael b Jordan but the main reason alot of bi guys don't come out is because they are probably the most scrutinised from people within the lgbtq+ and people outside of it. To other queer people bisexuals can walk that line of appearing straight and alot of queer folk don't like that. See a bi guy with a man he's gay when he's with a women he's straight or lying he's gay generally how bi guys are viewed. As for women they tend to be over sexualised as bisexual unfortunately thats down to media and such.

If anything you should be very happy it means he feels safe with you , telling people you are any sexuality from what's considered the norm is very hard and we only do it if we feel a true connection with someone so don't be mad with them respect them because he's no different from the day before and making him feel that way will only make him regret his decision to open up to you
