Really well done, this is very impressive. The only thing I would personally change is the American use of German terms like Reichskommissariat and Germania and such. It just felt slightly immersion breaking to me. I would honestly expect a lot of those words to just get translated into plain English for a mass media broadcast. I would expect German terms to really be limited to foreign policy experts and advisers. So instead of “There are reports of slave revolts in Reichskommissariat Ostland”, it would probably be more like “There are reports of slave revolts in the Baltic and Belarussia” or “in the eastern territories” or just “in Russia”
There had been realy plans to change the name of Berlin into Germania. So after a german Victory of wwll, Germania would have been correct in early 1960s. And: If Germany realy would have won wwll, there would have been possibly Oswald Mosley as british ( Führer means in german leader OR Guide) head of state and a kind of vassal to Adolf Hitler. In this case, possibly there would have been a tendency to ,regermanize' english language. I am german, but in daily life i don' t speak Standard German ( which is for me a sign of prussification), i prefer my dialect and as a nostalgic, i still know a lot of dated, rare used german words. How would be a germanic ( Not German!) english today, based on Old English. Watch for example channel of Simon Roper. As opposed to Gen X & Millennials preparing to hide or surrender when the fighting comes to their part of the world?
Your are not smart and different for knowing about ai text to speech kid.
i came across this and have no idea what it is or what's it for but it was very confusing. the comments made it clear it's ai alt history but not knowing that i thought maybe it's from a movie or something but it didn't feel like that was right either.
This is from The New Order: Last Days of Europe, a mod for strategy game Hearts of Iron IV, in a world where the Axis Powers won the Second World War. This video in specific shows a report covering the civil war situation in Germany after the death of Hitler.
Having listened to Walter Cronkite for years, it's clear to me that the voice isn't his.
Damn this shit is good
Frightening how alternate history can be made with advanced AI.
this is freaking awesome.
I remember this well even though I was only in the 3rd grade.
You have damned us, this is the first step to the eve of historical legitimacy
This is legendary
This is amazing. Insane what we can do with AI now.
One minute 56 seconds of me saying "What the hell is this?" before I scrolled down to learn more about what I was seeing. Because I knew this didn't conform to recorded history. But I didn't doubt the video. I doubted my own knowledge of post-war Germany. "I didn't know they were still using the word "reich" after 1945." This was scary. But very well done.
I love how your stories have no particular canon. One special might say the Fuhrer is Bormann the next will talk about Goring as the Fuhrer. Makes it way more interesting.
This was created by AI? That’s crazy but kind of scary what will AI do next?
Ah, the GRX over his shoulder give you away...not technically possible until the 1970s...
sounds nothing like walter cronkite, aside from that-very impactful.
So unless the lore changed, i believe it's canonically that Mr. Funni SS man is always mr. Mustache man's successor it's just if he wins (which frankly he shouldnt without player intervention). Overall good work and much bettsr than i could ever do but thought id mention it. If you ever think of remaking this video it's something to consider
I was thinking that too, but this is good nonetheless
Why do you think that Heydrich would be Adolf's successor?
I know that TNO is alternative history, but wasn't Bormann being groomed to become Adolf's actual successor in real life?
@@GLASSMOSCOWANDBEIJING, nah, that was Goering.
Even so, it is confirmed by the devs that Bormann canonically win the GCW
Canon got wiped away over two years ago. There is nothing canon now
