Sorry I'm late to the party, I was a bit busy sneaking into the headquarters of WotC to get them to restart production of more Homarids. But while I was there, I implanted a special ink in the cards that would vastly increase the likelihood of "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!
The problem is, slivers are only played in tribal decks, so there will be a ton with extremely similar totals, and there's not much analysis to do that won't get very repetitive.
@@Hagot428 I actually see it as the opposite: Not every deck will have the exact same slivers. So the bottom half of the list will be interesting because it'll show which are the (still good) lesser Slivers that people pick and choose between and don't make every deck/fell out of popularity over time (despite originally gaining enough points to make the list, they weren't continually played enough over time as other better slivers replaced them in decks). And the top half of the list will still be interesting as it'll show which Slivers either were so all-star they survived many years of new Sliver sets being printed, or quickly gained points and replaced those lower on the list. If anything, MORE analysis will need to be done in this way, as opposed to "These 10 cards are just so good that a lot of players play them in all sorts of decks". It'd be more like a more in-depth view of the Slivers deck history, but instead of looking at the decks themselves over time, it'd be focused on the cards themselves and seeing when they were released and if they don't see play anymore despite originally ranking on the list, or if they were more recent and quickly established themselves as a Sliver staple. Not only this, but there's actually SOME Slivers that get played outside of Sliver tribal, and it'll be interesting to see how much those other decks affect the stats, and whether they push a card that's 'meh' in Sliver decks but 'wow' in other decks over some of the core Sliver tribal cards.
7:19 it's actually your opponent(s) who lose life equal to the card's cmc, which is even more disgustingly good, turning, say, a force of will that you brainstormed to the top into an extra 5 damage. In commander it's even worth it to play expensive cards like shadow of mortality, temporal trespass and commit to memory with no intention of ever casting them, just because dealing 30+ total damage out of nowhere is worth a few deck slots.

Wonder why exactly moon hacker is an enchantment creature. In Theros enchant creatures were given some mechanics to emphasize their nature, like gods (who are enchantments until you fulfill some conditions) or lesser creatures who can be stacked upon others like auras. Moon hacker is just... enchantment creature, deal with it. Seems strange.
There is a history and tradition vs. progress and technology thing going on in Neon Dynasty, hence the enchantment creatures (and creature sagas) to represent the first half and artifact creatures (and equipment creatures) to represent the other. You're still right that there isn't really any specific flavor to this one though. I guess they're just a random traditionalist ninja or something?
My personal number one ninja: Taki, from the Soul Caliber series, though not necessarily because of her martial arts skills. Although she's definitely a fun character to play. Oh wait, are we supposed to be focusing just on Magic ninjas? Well, the way the Secret Lairs are going, give it a year or two, and she probably will be on a Magic card.
For Episode 500 can you do a MTG top 10 of your MTG top 10? Maybe Top 10 favorite MTG top 10's and your 10 least favorite MTG top 10's? Or is that too meta for your 500th?
Two things: It's pronounced neen-*ju*-tsu, not nin-ji-stu. Ninjitsu isn't a word, but when separated as nin ji tsu, is man-hour with a particle at the end. Ninjutsu is the combat style of ninjas. Also, it's not "koh-toh-see," it is more like "koh-toh-seh," with the syllables roughly even (the kanji comes out to koto-se for how it's divided). I know I shouldn't be critical of it, especially as someone who is just learning Japanese and not a native speaker. Since starting to learn it two years ago, though, I've realized just how often English speakers butcher Japanese words because we aren't consistent in our own language with how letters sound, whereas Japanese is far more consistent outside of them cutting off the end of katakana, like in words like desu (des') or masu (mas').
for episode 500, should do Top 10 MTG top 10s on your channel. the ones that did the best and such then revisited at 1000, and see how the algorithim has changed or not.

Unfortunately it would make for a very weird list, since so many would be tied for points as a result of their very nature.

I play MU faeries in pauper and deep hours and moon circuit hacker are power houses in that deck
