22 years ago It was Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton and Villa. Now there is the oil money backed Chelsea and City who've added to their trophy cabinets. Spurs were 6th to begin with and are now 8th (although I think they might be further below teams like Blackburn, Nottingham Forest etc.) 🤣🤣🤣

You mean 'Focus' on finishing above a poor Arsenal to deceive yourselves into believing you've overtaken us as a club? If we finish 6th and you finish 5th spurs fans would be content. Why is it when Newcastle, Arsenal and Leicester are good or half good, spurs can't keep up or match results? They always seem to fall away. Spurs don't seem to climb the table when more than 2 rivals are good (Arsenal, Newcastle, man utd) but always up their when the reverse happens. You were lauded for pipping a poor Arsenal by 2 points and the spurs fanbase was happy. If man city pip us to the title by 2 points we would be unhappy.

As a Tottenham supporter I can’t disagree with a lot of your comments. However Mr Davey just for your information, the top five used to be : Liverpool,Man Utd,Everton, Arsenal & Tottenham. Football didn’t start with the premier league, everyone talks about Tottenham not winning trophy’s ( quite righty), but when did Newcastle last win anything? 1969 I believe.

The problem is we did have history before Levy, that’s why we are annoyed we seem like we’ve gone forwards but it seems like we’re going backwards

Lee Judges sounds like someone who wants things to stay exactly as they are now, especially with Arsenal finally on top of the table (after many years of underachieving) and Spurs looking listless. This set of circumstances has happened how? Two things: Arsenal backed their manager and gave him all the tools he needed to make this happen AND Spurs have NEVER backed ANY manager since Levy became chairman. Did he back Martin Jol? Harry Redknapp? Pochettino? Mourinho? Conte? And everyone in between. He's backed nobody except himself; the only thing he wants to do is turn a profit every year anyway he can. One domestic cup in 23 years says it all, so no wonder Judges wants Levy to stay put. If Spurs is ever sold to an oil-rich state, you lot are f*cked and you know it. Enjoy this season, by all means. You might not have another one like it.
The frustration is not we have ‘god given rights to win trophies or expect to be above top teams and win titles. The frustrations are the lack of investments and building on successes like reaching the CL final , or coming close to winning league ( when leicester won it) it’s the lack of ambition from ENIC to progress further up the league to make us an elite club that frustrates fans. Fans want ambition, would you be happy with an expensive stadium and buying players that aren’t good enough ti challenge for titles? Levy has done well but has not built on this. The spurs buy low sell high policy that may have worked in the past is not working now due to poor recruitment. Fans want the club to build and progress further from past successes and not for club to have low ambition. I am sure any club in the league that have had successes would like to see clubs progress further with more investment. Spurs may have debts but they have more revenue from concerts and fans then before they have had period of low spending and made profit, they had a season where they did not buy a player. They have hit the money but don’t wish to spend significantly because they want young players with potential with potential higher sell in value but this current model is not working for them.

I get what your saying lee but only after so long can we be grateful for a making a UCL final and stadium when summer and summer we miss out on players because of levy’s stinginess trying to save every penny. We’ve missed out on so many good players by a couple million. Ex Rubén días , Bruno Fernández , Luis días and more. Look at the squads we’ve had while pushing for the league and champions league half decent players half Southampton quality players when we’re gotten so close to winning levy either sacks the managers before a final or does not slash big bucks as we pushed by for the league with poch that’s why where pissed levy has no intention of saving us from being a banter club
To be honest as a gooner I fully hear Lee's point as he's right but so are you and other spurs fans point of view on this as well I see both sides.
What lee doesn't understand like most of the deadpan pretend pundits on social media these days is that as a product, spurs is the most expensive ticket in the land and yet, they're very mediocre for what the club charge at. To come out and say fans on ungrateful when their money is going to owners back pocket as oppose to back into the club is quite condescending.

@@bambamflingstones7670 we appointed two of the top managers and never gave them what they wanted, and had a chance to be successful and never backed poch. We don’t expect to win the league but we want to see progress. I would’ve took staying at White Hart Lane for success but they care more about finances. Everything is there for us to be a big club, and we had history before Levy came in, 1 league cup in 20 odd years, I still think we can demand that if they have no ambition they should sell

They spent so much in the summer yet the fans are calling for Levy to back Conte in January and that is the issue.....Facts they bought wrong in the summer and spent loads. Conte is not the right man for them, they play boring and football and don't work as a team and so many players not turning up. That is why they will not be top 4. Agree with Lee they are actually doing well and punching for who they are. The fact their fans boo their players at half time as they are so entitled? Last majour trophy they won was the FA Cup in 1990............ 1 league title. They are not a big club. Tottenham fans are such Chavs

@@ayrtonsenna1989luke tbh I don’t think our summer signings were wrong. Richarlison has looked good when he’s on the pitch, Bissouma is adapting but should come good. Perisic has played well. Lenglet has done ok. Udogie is doing very well in Serie A. The problem is we need more defensively. We’ve had Dier, Sanchez, Davies here for way to long but we refuse to replace them.
@@callumhammett241 I honestly think Spurs should invest in their youth like Arsenal. I think that is what Levy wants. O Hara was banging on about that you have world class training facilities. If you developed some young players and made your own stars then you could compete. I not saying this as i am Arsenal but that is what Arsenal have done and allowed them to compete with the big teams. There is no reason why Spurs cannot do what Arsenal are doing now. Don't have to spend big like Chelsea and buy the wrong players. Saka cost us nothing as did ESM, Eddie was cheap and so was Martinelli. We bought Odegaard for 30mill. You have a nice stadium but debt, I think getting rid of Poch was the worst thing ever, getting your team to a champions league final whilst playing at wembley and no money was a major acheivement.

I'm a Chelsea fan and I couldn't agree more about spurs .. if harry kane was never a spurs player just imagine take away all his goals .. where would they actually have been in the league? As a neutral, it amazes me to hear Tottenham consider themselves on par with Arsenal, Man UTD, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool while not having even an ounce of success that those clubs have had over the last 20 years. Tottenham are Everton with a new stadium, that is all.
No Tottenham fan are saying they are on par with any of those clubs and if they are then they don't know football, me as a Tottenham fan want the best for my club and these owners are not the answer, just like Mike Ashley wasn't the answer at Newcastle.
