Hi Michael, there is a quick way to expose parameters for automation. Alt-Click on the control does it right away. For sources, select the source(s) and alt-Click onto X, Y or Z and the position of the selected source(s) is exposed.
And you should update gravitas as there are buttons in the Input Config window now which lets you deselect many channels quickly.

Great! I recorded that video before you published the update.

I have a 7.1.4 studio and I can't stand the sound of immersive reverbs. The speakers are in a room already adding an immersive fake room into a real room which already has it's own natural reverb sounds washy and awful. Just your usual stereo reverbs used for traditional mixing panned with your instruments in 3d space is more than enough reverb. I also find that compressing the whole bed destroys the beauty of the Atmos space and especially makes no sense for the top speakers. I find if you want to glue certain transients a limiter or clipper on the individual source is much better, and if the outcome is the add punch to the envelope then a transient designer on the drums etc works better for Atmos. Stereo that's a different story. I think engineers think they need the same tools in Atmos but they don't, a lot of the regular concepts from stereo are actually detrimental to an emotional Atmos mix.
Btw your immersive Maschine idea is brilliant 👌🏾

Thanks for the input. I used the side chain compression more as a proof of concept. It obviously depends on what you are trying to accomplish.
