- HONEST LONG TERM REVIEW OF THE TAYLORMADE TP5 PIX GOLF BALL! GREAT!? OR GIMMICK!? Taylormade TP5 and TP5x golf balls have taken the world by storm... potentially even knocking the Titleist Pro-V1 off it’s perch... what’s the best golf ball you can buy? The best golf balls of 2020? The best golf ball you can buy? In this video we look at the Taylormade TP5 Pix golf balls which I’ve been using for over 6 months. So we can safely call this a long term review... is it a gimmick? Does it help you hit longe drives? Hole more putts? Maybe it’s the longest golf ball ever!? Let’s do it... and let’s do it now!

Same with me, but the one I found lasted about 6 holes, seemed good but still don't really understand the markings.
PIX as a new player to golf just this year I love the game and the videos you post have helped so much
PIX. I actually just played up in San Jose with these balls but I actually fell in love with this ball over the weekend, I played 3 different courses. Coming from using chrome soft and ProV1 I actually prefer this ball now to everything else. I would love to get more to keep trying them out and spreading the word!
Tp5x balls are absolutely a 1st class ball. Play them all the time as they suit my all round game. Love your down to earth reviews on all manner of golf related issues. Always fun and informative to watch.
I love the TP5x "PIX" balls. They feel good off of the clubs, sound great and definitely improved my game a bit. The triangles actually help me focus and keep my eye on the ball more.
I’ve been using pix now for a couple of months. Got them during lockdown to practice putting in my living room and loved them. Played them on course and can’t beat the feel and you get plenty juice with the wedges.

Pix. Haven’t used that pattern yet but used the older version in the pink and yellow on my first few rounds of golf. Was a found ball that I didn’t lose for a while and I’d break it out when I absolutely needed to hit a good tee shot lol. Absolutely love TP5s
I love the PIX, for me it makes lining up putts much easier. Instead of just having a single line it gives a runway visual. Also for chips and things like that I can find a specific point on the ball and know exactly where I want to hit. Haven’t used them long enough to test the durability but I’m guessing the same as normal TP5 with a little extra logo fade.

I found a tp5 pic in the bushes played next week with it went though 13 holes +1 and loved it finished 9 over would love to try it again , before I commit to buying some
I’ve used the tp5 balls since they came out loved them, so gave the pix version a go they are great give you loads of feedback on how your ball is moving on chips & putts

PIX - never played them but I’ve been playing the chromesoft “soccer ball” and being able to identify it 15 yards away is a physiological booster.

Played a couple sleeves and really like the look (and orange is favorite color).
The alignment was good for setting up putts, but when I hit it, I don’t pay attention to how it’s rolling, I just watch to see if it’s on line and going in.
Would like some more as my sleeve is gone now
Pix I’ve been playing the white TP5x and loving it. The x has a harder shell and I love the “clip” sound you get round the greens. love to give the pix a try James.

Gamed these for the first time in my club championship and loved them!
PIX - tried them once, and they were amazing!
I’d like to try them. I use the Callaway chrome soft often with a pattern on them. Love the feel and the visual.
Pix I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks. I feel like they do help me with alignment on the greens.
I play with the TP5X pix. I can agree that i have had a couple where the alignment line that has the tp5x on it has been where one arrow was slightly turned a little bit! Just in case no one would believe you lol

PIX " Currently I play Callaway Chrome soft or mostly practice range balls that I found at an old closed down driving range in Tucson Arizona. I heard that using range balls you not because a lot of a lot of your distance out so it'll be nice to get some balls that actually fly further.
Pix. They look cool. I like the concept behind it. I throw 3 lines on my ball anyway but I’ll give them a try.

I like to line up puts with writing on the ball, but I just do not like the look of lines on balls. So, sometimes I struggle to visualize the correct alignment. The Pix can likely solve that, but does not look intrusive. Also, you mentioned that it is super easy to identify: a big bonus as well

"PIX" played a found one for 2 rounds until i put it back into the bush, went really well and felt good on the green too.
“Pix” I recently switched over to the pix ball and I’m definitely noticing a difference on the putting green. Makes alignment for me much easier.
“PIX” I played them, currently using the Taylormade Tour Response. I was using the Bridgestone Tour B XS. Made the switch from the TP5 Pix and Tour B XS for cost. I love them, but the Tour Response offers the same quality but a little cheaper.

Pix bought a sleeve of the tp5 pix balls during lock down to do a bit of putting. First game back and I couldn't miss a putt!! (everything else was horrendous lol)
Got to be the best ball on the market just now 👍 over all great feel on putting and good distance off tee didn’t think they could beat the TP5 x must salute taylormade for this ball. .

PIX ... I have used both the pix and the Callaway Travis and I love the pix way more combined with the tp5
Also, if you notice, the orange lines on the bottom of the triangles also help form a line.
PIX - they’re an intriguing ball. I play normal TP5x so would like to try and see if they make any difference. Really enjoyed the video

PIX - I often use the TP5 and TP5x balls and like them both. I started the month with a dozen but only have "4 LEFT!" Have not used the PIX balls yet and would like to see if I like them any more due to the graphics.

PIX.... I did use Taylormade balls in the past but had moved on a long time ago. Was a big fan of the Lethal ball and the Penta. My only hole in one was with a TM Lethal. Currently playing the Tour B RX from Bridgestone. Would be interested in trying the TM TP5. Still up in the air about the PIX logo. Might as well try it.

PIX. I tried the old TP5Pix and liked them, but still had to draw a line for alignment. I like the idea that they are now including the TP5X line, but I haven’t gotten a chance to try the new ones.

PIX - interesting graphics make it similar to Callaway Chrome Soft Truvis. I am liking them more and more.

PIX - I use Vice balls and before them it was Titleist. I'd give PIX a go, but not sure i'd buy them, they look a bit busy for me.

Tried a couple, I thought it helped me focus on hitting the middle of the ball and like the putting alignment. Not easy to find out the trees and woods though 😂

You mention tour players not using the Pix balls much, but I know that Matt Wolf and Ricky Fowler both use them regularly. I was a volunteer on the driving range at the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March and the TaylorMade rep brought in special edition TP5 Pix that had the Arnold Palmer umbrella logo instead of triangles on them for their use. Ricky was using them on the range and when we cleaned all the balls off the range a few of those somehow made it into my pocket. Matt ended up not using those because the rep only had them in TP5 and he uses the TP5X, so Ricky ended up with twice what he expected. Was cool playing with Ricky’s equipment until they all ended up in the Florida swamp at my local course. Fore right!

Play pinnacle for a long time as i still loose some balls but treated myself with a box of pix balls. Couldn’t tell what they like on the long term (still loose them left or right) but i do find them great on and around the greens.
