It's Running and Back on the Road! 1973 Ford F350

We did it! We saved this 1973 Ford F350 from getting scrapped, or parted out! If you followed this mini-series, we found this truck on Facebook Marketplace and picked it up for $2600. It had a lot of rust, but was still fairly solid, and deserved to be put back on the road. It's a bit of an oddball truck, being a Super Camper Special, so of course we had to save it.
Being a super budget build, we worked with panels and parts that we had, including a leftover seat cover from an early 80s Dodge pickup. We hit up U Pull and scored 5 steel wheels and tires (very used) for $85. The most expensive part was the windshield and installation. The windshield was around $170, and the installation was a bit more due to the amount of time it took. All in, we have about $4000 into the truck, not including our time, of course. The kids really got into this build as well, so it was money well spent. Coby already says he wants this to be his first truck, and I'm good with that!

Love the idea of keeping these trucks on the road. Modern vehicles have zero style. Keep up the great work.
