How to make PUERTO RICAN PINK BEANS easy and delicious! HABICHUELAS ROSADAS GUISADAS

- Puerto Rican Rice and Beans- a Puerto Rican classic! This is so easy, simple and delicious! I promise you will love these beans, it is my family's favorite!
Beans Recipe:
1 can Goya pink beans
1 can water
1/2 can tomato sauce or 1/4 cup
1 packet Goya ham flavor
1/4 cup of kielbasa (ham or hotdogs)
1 tbs oil
2 tbs sofrito
1 tsp of adobo (feel free to add more if you'd like)
1 Minch garlic clove
1 cup diced Butternut Squash (you may use potato if you'd like but the butternut gives it such a great texture and flavor)
1 tbs of olives (I prefer to us manzanilla olives)
You serve this over white rice. When making white rice make sure to add oil and salt to give a a nice taste. It pairs very well with fried chicken or a fried pork chop.

Hello how much water you put in your rice cooker
My rice cooker comes with premade lines on it to fill based on the cups I put in, so I’m not sure. But when I make in my instant pot I use 1 to 1.
Can I make this without sofrito? I don’t have any. :/
Yes you can🙂 There’s been times I’ve been out as well and have had to do with out 🤷♀️sofrito gives it that extra flavor though.
