We Picked Up Our New Supercharged V6 Engine For Project F! (L67 3800 Series II)

Today we picked up our new L67 for Project F, this is the engine we will be swapping into it. Now that we have it on it's engine stand we can start assembling parts for it! Stay tuned for more!

Off the top of my head ZZP XP Cam, ported gen 3 supercharger, LS7 lifters, 130# valve springs, 7" pushrods, gasket matched ported heads, 3'" pulley and methanol injection. We have a full spreadsheet with our build in the description.

Sorry if this sounds dumb but why engine swap wasn’t there already a 3.8 in it ??im new to building cars

The 3.8 in the camaro is a L36 and we're swapping in a L67. The blocks are identical but have different cylinder heads and the L67 has a blower. Buying this engine separately also allowed us to build it up outside of the car.

Can I install a front wheel drive engine on a camaro like this? There's no issue?

the supercharger will face backwards, you have to fabricate a u bend pipe to fit the throttle on it but it has been done

Stupid question but I have a 96 Camaro convertible 3800 series 2. Will a sideways motor 3800 work

That's basically what we're doing, there is quite a bit of modification/hot rodding to get it to fit

Yep should work exactly like ours. Project F's motor came from a 98 Grand Prix GTP.

How much did you pay for that engine?
