  • A loop walk onto Ben Lomond via the Ptarmigan path. It was a busy day at the Rowardennan car park but the promise of clearing skies didn't materialise. Nevertheless, the light winds and warm temperatures made for an enjoyable loop.

Hello Charlie… OMGosh what a view from the top. I am amazed at how many people were on the top. Some serious numbers in hiking. Really nice video, another beautiful video filled with stunning scenery and what a hike that was. I was impressed that all the cakes were just sitting there…. Pay, based on honesty. Loved that. Nice to see the contrast from clear to fog, to snow . The path down looked very steep. Take care my friend. I was thinking maybe the other hikers might be waiting for the sun to come out. Thankyou very much for sharing. 👌😇💕🇨🇦 LilliStJohn

Hiking Ben Lomond is always a joy. I didn‘t know the Ptarmigan Path until now. The next time I’ll take that route too. Some years ago we hiked Ben Lomond on the Tourist Path. Cracking views on your return! Take care … Wolfgang

      Cheers, Charlie.

Nice one Charlie. 👍 Interesting to see the different conditions through the years. Me and my mate had to turn back about 50m from the summit in March 2020. (The day before lockdown) The North West face was a sheet of ice. Sometimes its braver to say no. All the best 👍

Cracking little video gents. Myself and my Dad were up in the Highlands the other week. The high light for us was getting to the top of Tom a Choinich and Toll Creagach, first time in Glen Affric, what a stunning part of the country!

Pity the views weren't as good but it's still a great hike. Good use of using previous images of it. Stay safe and happy hiking. 👍😊👍🥾🥾⛰️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿⛰️

The tilt is a fantastic river! Will try Beinn A Ghlo in the future perhaps without the heat and blisters,! Cheers Charlie. Mark Shaw
