I remember the first time I was a passenger on a wide body. I was 9 years old, and it was an American Airlines 747, LAX to DTW. My mom and I were returning from a summer long vacation in California. There was so much room on the new 747 back then. There was even a cocktail lounge with club chairs, chrome table lamps, a stand up bar with bartender. My mom and I tried it out, ordering drinks while looking down at the Grand Canyon. I even got a Richie Rich American Airlines comic book which I still have somewhere. I can’t imagine flying to London in such a large plane with so many people. My dad arranged this flight for us as a surprise because the 747 was new. It was an exciting time. If you Google American Airlines 1971 747 coach lounge, you can see an ad for the lounge then.

Lovely to see you enjoying London - my favourite city. I live 100 miles from there but visit frequently and never tire of it. Also love it that you love all the goodies available to buy in Marks and Spencer. Lots of us Brits feel the same way too. Hope your return drive home wasn’t too stressful after a long flight. Glad to see our fellow Airline competitors enjoying london . One things for sure they must be paying you mega bucks to be able to afford eating in london . Very expensive is london . Whilst I appreciate you all have a relatively short stay. Hop on a train and visit the countryside and other citys . Just do a bit of research when you next come over . Book earlier if you can, lots of bargains. Enjoy the flying .

LHR was my first international destination I flew to back in the 80's, and I had the privilege to conduct various training sessions for staff that worked for and provided services to my airline SAA in LHR... Sadly with the business rescue and COVID-19 that has come to an end... Thank You for the wonderful memories relived through your vlog.

What an amazing London vlog I loved it. It was so nice that you and your crew went to dinner ate some good food and drinks and of course my favorite you did some shopping. I hope you get to get some more great trips like London hopefully around Christmas you can get a London trip and go to Harrods.

Glad you enjoyed London. I absolutely love it there. I love about 70 miles to the south. And I think I need to check out the cake shop in Soho next time I go. If you like sweet treats, go to Camden Market next time. They do the nicest waffles and all sorts there.
