What are some of your other alternatives to moss poles? Shared the video a day early because it was already done. ENJOY! :)

Thank you, that's a great idea! I'll order those myself for my pothos. I was thinking about putting 2 of those planks together to make them sturdier, and then drill some holes randomly thru them. Maybe it'll make it easier for the pathos to attach to the plank?! I also like experimenting! :)

Thank you for watching. It's very easy to try these. I like the idea of drilling holes, I might have to try that in the next pole I do. Thanks. :)

Seems like a success to me! At least on the Adansonii I can see the size up. Maybe the only downside is when it outgrows the plank and you have to chop and prop it. I think planks are closer to their natural conditions. After all, they climb trees, where there’s no moss for the roots to grow into and stay moist and take up nutrients…

I'm really enjoying the cork plank. I can see the different in 3 plant leaf size. Let's see how it will do when I have to add an extension. The one in the greenhouse cabinet might do really well since it very humid in there. Watch me put all of them in there. LOL! Thanks for watching, Daphne. :)

While I DID have success with my Syngopnium Chiapense and Frosted Heart on planks, I no longer use wood. I took my Chiapense off the plank and officially moved it to my lazy moss pole two weeks ago. The wood had rotted (I didn't treat the board) and since I had propagated the plant, I felt the board was too much. And to tell you the truth, since adding MANY moss poles (I now have 12) to my collection, I rarely feel that I need to wet the moss since I take all my plants to the shower when I water. Because I am also a lazy, underwatering plant parent!

12 Moss poles is alot. I feel I'm ready to try moss poles again. I want to get better about watering. I have tried a wood plank. The plant didn't attach and I was disappointed. Glad you're having some success with them.

Interesting concept! Sri you have a link for the board? I love to experiment. I use moss poles, I might have like 30 but who’s counting 😂. Great info.

Oh, sorry. I forgot share a link for the plank I used. I've added it to the description page. Once I have to extend the pole I'll do a video for that. We'll do it together. LOL! Let me know if you try it and how did it compare to your moss pole. I love plant experiments too. Thanks so much for watching.
