to refill just disassemble the pencil by rotating the top and the bottom of the pencil, then you'll see the catridge: just pull it with a bit of force and there you have it, just refill with any ink you want and put it back, push the catridge in until you hear a click !

Hi, thanks for the reply. I have pulled the cartridge out of my 0.7 Uni ball air and filled Diamine Tchaikovsky ink into it. I will try to do the same on my 0.5 one and take a photo.

The flow of the gel ink on my Air pens are kind of unpredictable, sometimes it forms fine lines, sometimes form a blob. :( Don't use it on flimsy paper. Use it on higher gsm paper. Don't write too hard. Need to wait for ink to dry on correction fluids or you will smudge it and get ink on your hand.
This is the closest gel pen I've found, that comes close to a fountain.

The Air is a very nice alternative to the fountain pen, though it will never replace my fountain pens. It's certainly a great scribble pen.

I think if you don't put pressure while writing, it wont bleed. that's my observation.
