He's not a very good vocalist imo. There are other bands that cover this song vocally well imo, the Gypsies and Gentlemen cover for example

I'm so glad people love Dougy's voice, it's brilliant. If could have a singing voice I'd want his over anybody else I've heard. But let's not forget that he's the singer/writer in a truly great band. They write great songs, melodies, arrangements, they all play multiple instruments and are a great live act.
