I’m so glad that y’all arrived to Denmark 🇩🇰. Denmark 🇩🇰 is one’s of mostly decorated cities in the world. It’s vintage houses in the area.
They added electric, water and heating system. But I’m surprised that Airbnb didn’t offer laundry.
They speak Danish. But most Danish natives speak English if they’re attended school in Copenhagen area.

Denmark is not one of the most decorated cities in the world. 😂😂😂 But maybe Copenhagen is. And every kid in Denmark learn english from first grade. Not only in the capital area.
I was born 55 years ago, in one of the most rural areas of Denmark. We learned English from 4th or 5th grade, and all the way up to tenth grade.
I've only ever known one Dane, who didn't speak a word of English - my dad. And he had 4 brothers, who did.
Today, in most schools, they start learning English at first grade, but I believe there are some schools, where they first start in 2nd or 3rd grade. But it has nothing to do with Copenhagen. It has to do with the priorities of the school.

The teacher for my new graduate program in Aromatherapy and Ayurveda lives in Copenhagen! She started a medical clinic there and provides both Modern Medicine and Ayurvedic Wellness and is an expert on essential oils.

We have actually been to Switzerland before and absolutely loved it there! Austria is definitely on our list, just not sure whether that will happen this trip or not.

Ok...I've never been out of the country ,except to Windsor Canada- and that's so close to Detroit, I don't really consider it a trip to a foreign country. lol Teach us a bit here though. How do you find all these places to stay, deals on flights (which airlines are best etc)? Wanna learn from pros at this bc you obviously are kinda like 'pros' doing this with that large of a family. :D

The Airbnb we were in only had availability for 3 days, which we spent most of recovering from jet lag! Next time we go back we would love to see so much more of the city, and the whole country! 🥰

We are a family of 5 and so were wondering whether you guys booked your taxi in advance or once you got out of the Copenhagen airport?
No we did not book it in advance! Once you exit the airport you will see a long line of Taxis waiting. You might need to be firm and let them know you’ll wait for a van, otherwise the first 2 taxis will insist on taking you and you will pay double, unless you don’t mind paying double 🤷🏼♀️
You may already know this, my son just showed me google translate has a feature where you can capture an image of a sign and translate it. Just watched your video and thought it might have been a help when you were shopping for bread or doing laundry. Look forward to seeing more of your adventures! Safe travels!😊

It doesnt seem like you saw much of Copenhagen at all? I feel kind of sad after seeing this vlog that your family didnt really EXPERIENCE the real Copenhagen. Your AirBnb is really far outside the beautiful vibe of CPH. Maybe next time.
Unfortunately we booked our trip very last minute, and there weren’t any airbnbs that could accommodate our large family anywhere else in all of Copenhagen. Hopefully next time 😉

You don't have to. In Denmark you can skinny dip or swim in an abaya if you like. Or anything in between. Don't judge anyone's choice.
The only rule about clothing is you can't cover your face. So no chador or burka. But a diver's mask is ok.
