- Here's Wattie from The Exploited's interview. The interview was funny and entertaining. The first three or four minutes doesn't have any audio, so to compensate for that, I used a little Exploited music until it gets to the interview with the audio.
Just love him ever since the first time I heard the Exploited in 1982!
does he come with sub titles . he's says stuff about english. dude i fucking love this shit cause i can barely understand what the fuck he's saying but i know what he's talking about.
People keep saying that, lol. I understand him fine, well, I would since I'm Scottish too lol. I haven't lived in Scotland for over twenty years, so I'm not as slang as Wattie. Not only that, but I can see that might be a problem for some, hahahaha

For all that are having trouble understanding Wattie’s accent , I’m planning on re-uploading with subtitles because the the closed captions are inaccurate, in fact they are pretty bad. Bear with me and I’ll get it done.
I was at that New York show. A Skinhead and part of the crew. But I always loved The Exploited. It was mayhem. I remember Wattie stomping across the stage like a madman. I thought he was impressive. The sad part is they never really did many shows in New York after that. I went to see them at Rebellion in 2018 and he had that heart condition scare. So I came back in 2019 and they were amazing. I got to to see them in New York in 2022 with the Cro Mags. Everything comes full circle. And those of us that are left from those days. I know cherish those old shows.

I had a chance to talk to Wattie but I pussed out. I was too shy. He actually engaged me. I was too damn shy. I totally regret that.

Have loved the Exploited since high school(1988). Love Wattie but it takes about 5 minutes to get on his speaking wavelength. Before that I need subtitles,lol.

Funny how they were on the early oi! albums when they were Never an oi! group.👀
They never considered themselves to be an Oi band, they always said they were a Punk band. I think it was more to do with some of the people that were writing about punk etc, back then. You know, like record journalist etc, they clearly didn't have a clue, I mean songs like I believe in Anarchy, should have been a clear enough that they weren't an Oi! band. So you're right when you say they weren't an Oi! band, the only thing is they didn't claim to be.
