Many old school punk bands play at this festival as well as upcoming bands that are becoming more known in the old school punk scene. Discharge Rebellion 2022
I meant to upload this and several other videos that I filmed last year, unfortunately due to my health being pretty bad I haven't been able to do so. Anyway, here's Discharge, from last year at Rebellion. What pissed me off that night was they played in the club casbah. I have to say, I hate filming in that part of the building. I don't know what they were thinking positioning the mixing desk in that part of the hall, it kinda got in the way, nevertheless I did what I could. A couple of people thought it would be funny to purposely keep walking in front of me and my camera, they did this several times, just to ruin my footage. Because I Have to stand to film, this causes me a great deal of pain in my legs. Being disabled also makes filming very difficult, so I'm sure most would know what kind of mood I was in that night, lol. Regardless of what they did, I was able to cut out at least some of those parts in post editing. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the video.

I'm so sorry about this one. I had to cut this video short. This was due to people at the show purposely getting in the way of the camera, I guess they thought it was funny or something. They got worse with it halfway through the show, I gave up in the end, I have to say, I was quite upset about it. Nevertheless, here's what I got from the GBH show.
Ramonas, Rebellion 2022

Here are The Ramonas, They put on an outstanding performance every time they play at the Rebellion festival. It has to be said, this performance in my opinion was the best. They also played a few of their own songs during the show, which I thought was great. Speaking for myself, I loved the Personal problems' song. Here's Wattie from The Exploited's interview. The interview was funny and entertaining. The first three or four minutes doesn't have any audio, so to compensate for that, I used a little Exploited music until it gets to the interview with the audio.

Richard Jobson and The Skids put on a great performance here. It was supposed to be Bad Religion that was paying that night, however they couldn't make it, so The Skids were asked to perform in their place. This was fine with me because I never got to see The Skids perform live before. The show was excellent. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the video, and Merry Christmas to you all too.

This was filmed in the Club Casbah, It's not my favourite place to film, that's for sure. It was difficult due to the massive scaffolding for the PA system, they moved it to a real awkward part of the building. This got in the way a lot. Regardless of this, I did my best. This was my first time getting to see Booze & Glory, these guys blew me away with this performance. I never usually like bands that are new to me, but Booze & Glory impressed me so much. They were amazing from start to finish. I met Chema, the bass player briefly, he is a very nice dude, so this video is dedicated to him. I hope you all enjoy this.

At this gig there were 4 original members- Boppin Bert on bass, Smeg on Vox, John on Sax (originally was guitarist in the 80s) and Paul on guitar... The drummer is Gaff (fr Vince Ray) and 2nd guitar is Eli Paul and Robert left shortly after this show..
First heard these on John Peel 1978 and they still rock. 😊

I have to be honest with you, Woody, I was kinda disappointed with this particular show. I had seen them before in the 90s, and it was awesome, but this was nowhere near. And that particular part of the building is the worst for sound and view. It's better than nothing, though. It was only the singer and guitarist I recognised from the original line up, god knows who the rest of them were, lol
Both guitarists are there as well as Smeg,the others I'm unfamiliar with.

I did like Sham69,a bit of a ramones rip off band without the long hair.I got various singles during the mid 80s and Hurry up Harry we`re going down the pub i got when i was about 20 always got me excited to go down the pub.A lot of shit songs they did though but a couple of good ones.Tell Us the Truth was one good tune.Tell us the truth,you could aim that song very much at all of our politicians.
My first ever live gig was The Skids 12th June 1979 at Newcastle City Hall.

Do any of you guys remember The Skids dressed like the Klu Klux Clan. I am older than most of you guys but an old friend of mine from school called Gordon Sharp and he was in a support band called The Freeze who played at The Kinema in Dunfermline with them and later we stayed at Stuart's flat in Cowdenbeath (I think it was anyway!!). The Skids were brilliant and I was hooked!!! Stuart Adamson was the dogs bollocks as a Guitarist and is sadly missed!!
