@@RonCavagnaro can’t wait! It’s helping me with the steep learning curve on it as I just got it a few days back to get away from my DAW. Subbed for more of your jams and tutorials. 🙏🏾
@@21daystill thanks well i found a way easier better workflow one week when i was sick i just dived in, check my more recent video "see whats on my electribe 2" for results
Just bought my Electribe2. I have seen hundreds of youtube-clips, read the Korg user manual. Feeling very depressed... It feels like an old Sinclair Spectrum, -hold down tree keys and get to the fourth with your nose, and the maybe something will hapend ;-) But this tutorial actually start to give me som sort of understanding for this strange machine! Good job Ron! You should get a paycheck from Korg...
Are you hooked up to an external synth or internal? Can I record sounds on Electribe from an external synth but without using the sampling method? I like to hear the beat when I record.
Hi! Is there a way to copy a sound to another patch. Like copy paste. I d like to use the same sound into different tempos on the same song. Thanks in advance for help.
My Electribe 2 doesn't seem to record chords (it records everything else normally, and plays chords). Any idea what might be going on? BTW great videos, thanks for the tutorials
Might be over the number of simultaneous notes being played? There's a hard cap, so if you have a number of drum hits and notes at the same time it will randomly cut out certain notes on record. I feel like it may do that when playing as well, which means you should be able to tell ahead of hitting record, but not 100%.
Now don't forget to check out how to make beats with the Korg e2!!! czcams.com/video/t8ZYDOwqGO8/video.html
i nearly watched all tutorials here but this one worked best for me. idk why. thanks a lot!
Thanks!! These are way old i want to revisit this gear when im done with other tutorials:)

@@RonCavagnaro I wanted the emx1 so badly but ordered Electribe 2 blue now... missing much?
I use my electribe since it released but i still could learn from this video. Thank U Sir.
Nice tips with the paint marker and Shift+Modulation.
Thank you for the video. Very helpful straight forward.

FUNKBEAST this isn't the sampler version not sure how it works. This is using the internal synth

Yes, shift+pad 13 p.13 in manual.
@10.26 what do you mean by droning? Cutting off the first atatck part of the envelope?
How many LFOs can you have running per part? Can you have foe example, a pitch lfo + filter lfo? Thanks!
Just one lfo
thanks for the video. what is wrong with the sequencer? what sequencer would you recommend?
xisotopex yes I recommend deluge. I don't like the sequencing in e2 that they removed step sequencing from the previous emx1
that seems like a silly decision. I wonder what they were trying to accomplish.
xisotopex watch my other video to see what they did include
Live record wont record on my e2 sampler... ??? Any idea.?
Hey sorry to hear but I don't have that. Maybe ask in Korg forums or fb groups on e2s
