I looked at both and bought a KIA sx prestige hybrid. Very nice. I spent an extra $2k for a 6year/100k full warranty (incl electronics) and a 10year/200k power train warranty.

No competition. The KIA blows the RAV 4 out of the water. RAV 4 is dated and the interior is cheap.

Just traded in my 2023 rav 4 xse for a 2023 Sportage SX prestige. The rav 4 definitely gets better gas mileage (4-5 mpgs better) but outside of that, the sportage sx prestige blows the rav 4 away. From the ride , to the quietness of the cabin, to "all the Features", i love my sportage. I'll pay a lottle more for gas but i will enjoy the ride better
