  • Different Problems can be identified in your planning station according to different scenarios given. You have to write your nursing interventions specific to each nursing problems you have identified. You also need to know EMATARID acronym which will help you to write those interventions within the time frame given. Common problems identified in OSCE are the following, Pain, Anxiety, Low Mood, Breathlessness, Reduced mobility, Risk of Infection, End of Life, Risk of falls, Risk of malnutrition, Pain in Subdural hepatoma, Risk for deterioration etc. This video explains you about commonly identified nursing problems and nursing interventions that you need to write for those problems.

    And also, I just want to clarify because based on my understanding, GCS or neurological assessment should be escalated as per NICE policy. ?Correct me if im wrong. Thank you.

    Does the re evaluation time frame apply to a community scenario as well please? Specifically, Do we still include 'at the end of each shift or as clinical condition changes' considering, we are just visiting the patient in his own home?

      @OSCENMCPART2VIDEOS  Před rokem +1

      Yes no need to write at the end of shift but you can write as clinical condition changes bcoz you can write an intervention about revisit or referral for the specific problem

      Because its a community scenario, its unrealistic to fix a close time frame such a hourly, 4hrly or 12hrly. However, a daily, weekly or biweekly evaluation is achievable. For Osce sake, it's better to verbalise ' Hilary will be re-evaluated appropriately'. Or escalation will be made to Gp, and the next evaluation date will be decided. If its to be written in planning, a weekly evaluation is fine.

      @@oluwakemioluwaseye3209 thank you so much and you made great sense. So funny you mentioned the name of the patient I got . I later used different care plans : High risk malnutrition with MST score of 2 and Risk for hypoglycemia due to poor glycemic control. Based on my assessment and the scenario And the monitoring frequency I used was based on how serious I perceived the cases.
      Thank God I passed all my stations last week Thursday.
      Thanks once more

    Hi there, random question: do you know what Registered Nurse level 1 and registered nurse level 2 mean? I am trying to apply for a vacancy and it asks rather I'm in sub part 1 or 2 in the register. However, the only information on my NMC online portal is "registered nurse adult". Thank you in advance if you can help me♥️
