That was sooo funny!!! I was talking about this the other day. When you work as an arborist, you go about doing things logically, well planned out and precisely, watching people struggling and battling over the simplest things in life can be amusing, more often than not its just bloody annoying.

You are THE MAN Reg!!! Right off the bat I'm thinking "damn, weeks of watching this guy's vids and I'd never have pictured him in a Starbucks", didn't jive with that biting critique of the BBC&pop-culture/celebrity-worship you gave, then you lay into the rush/pretend-I'm-not-rushing behavior, brilliant - but seeing you guys enact it at the ending was just laugh-out-loud funny, A+ gold material as always Reg thanks!!
And re lashing the limbs into bundles to wench-line - slow-line them up like that, to the chipper by your *covered* trailer, was brilliant (guys are going to love when I suggest the tarping to catch the chipper-feed, I will say I found it in your video!!)
Thanks as always man, you're a real credit to the industry to be sharing such great content freely like this :)

Brilliant ending to a great video!, good job Reg. I wish that you were here in the Santa Cruz Ca. area because we would make an awesome team, I have 3 bucket trucks including a 100' and 35 years of climbing experience but still get interested in watching you take down big trees especially when you are rigging them down, that is where skill counts since there are many climbers who can free drop trees but few who can take down really difficult large trees without any collateral damage although that last cut on the base was a close call by any account for the small shrub and that little ladder lol lol. Thumbs up buddy 10 points!

    LOL, brilliant.
Nice winch line set-up, took me a bit to figure what was going on, i'm assuming a high tie in on the fixed end of the winch line and as you pull in the slack it lifts the load and the snatch block just runs down the line?
I have a PCW5000, great bit of kit, surprising what it'll pull, 18m Spruce on a double line no problem, recently used mine to pull a tree section by section out of a canal, couldn't get the strop around the last section as it was lying on the canal bed so had to cut a letterbox and feed the strop through.

Oh and that's incredibly impressive re that 36V Husq, I'm watching the videos backwards (thanks, youtube-auto-play with limited functionality!) so I know you *get* the battery-backpack for it but just unsure if you owned it now but didn't bother using it when the individual LiPo packs are sticking around through an entire cedar like that (have seen the kid on Climbing Arborist getting impressive life from this unit as well, battery-operated is going to be a game-changer I mean the only real restrictions on 2-strokes was due to environmental concerns, I know how you speak of ported saws v regular saws but surely you know how fast a Tesla is compared to a gasoline vehicle, this energy-on-demand property of LiPo will literally allow saw speeds & powers that are limited exclusively by the size of the saw-body you want to carry, will be interesting to see these things hot-rodded in 5-10yrs from now the 'modded husq 40V' youtubes will surely be jaw droppers!!

My only hesitation in getting one is that the noise level doesn't seem to be rated that much lower than a gas saw. You know Starbucks couldn't exist without all those free loaders lounging and sucking up the oxygen. Its part of their "atmosphere" to be seen with all the books and crap hogging up the space. HA. You won't catch me in there. IF I were to pay that much for a coffee, I'd get mine to go. ;-)
