- Reaction video time once again. In episode 14 of "DragonBall Z Abridged" we learn, among other things, that Krillin is apparently a space duck... Also, Frieza and his crew seem to have something aginst space ducks.

As you can see, the comments are coming in too quick for me to keep up. I've been reading them all, though, so I wanted to answer what you guys have been asking:
Yes, we will definitely watch the DBZ Abridged movies. I'm trying to figure out the best order.

What i love about Abridged dragonball z's Freiza is that he is not only physically intimidating he is psychologically intimidating, his quips and his trash talk are so effective, until he meets this Goku where such trash talk goes right over his head.

Okay so to answer your question, the old man with the mustache is Bulma's father (and the "milf" obviously is Bulma's mom). And he's not actually like that in the real show. That's just the character they made up for him in the abridged dub.
Since you're hating Goku, let me just explain - in the original Japanese version Goku is a bloodthirsty guy who just lives for fighting. He has no education but he's not nescesarily an idiot. In the American translation though, they turned him into a heroic type.
Of course, some scenes make no sense from that perspective. Like when he let Vegeta go, in the Japanese version his reason was because he wanted to fight him again. In fact, throughout the series, he insists on fighting the bad guys when they're at their most powerful rather than killing them when he has the chance. In the American dub, since he's a heroic type, none of those descisions make any sense. So in this Abridged series, they're explaining it by making Goku a dumbass.

It doesn't matter if Goku's a dumbass, Vegeta's also not that smart. But he is fan favorite alongside with Gohan.
goku is not dumb the reason lets his enemies power up to their strongest is because he is a full blooded saiyan his pride won't allow him to kill an opponent that isn't at their strongest and it is also this pride that is part of what made him let vegeta go so he could become stronger he also like to think that everyone even the most evil of ppl can change if given the chance witch is why he let both vegeta and frieza go he will only kill as a last resort to protect the things he loves (at least in dbz in dragon ball his morality is debatable in that regard)
He planed out everything with cell manipulating things like letting vegeta and trunks going into the chamber 1st so he could scout the situation and when in the chamber with gohan he realised gohan was a far better choice for beating cell than he was while also preparing for the future that he might not be in.
in the buu saga he showed goten and trunks the fusion dance and the power of ssj3 so they could use the knowledge to beat buu since his time on earth was limited and immediately knew that fusion with the potara was the only viable option at that point when he returned from the kai's planet
in super he will still protect the things he loves but is more focussed on getting stronger most likely out of boredom and to keep u with vegeta than anything else and also that pride comes into play allot but he did pass that intellectual test in order to participate in the universe 6 tournament
and let's not forget he can learn a technique just by seeing it once or by having a brief explanation of how it works like in dragon ball after seeing master roshi use the kamehameha once and then explaining it to him
goku is far from stupid he just doesn't show his intellect as obviously as gohan and piccolo do

on the subject u mentioned though he said that because he cared more about his friend and son than himself and his pride wouldn't allow help in a fight, Goku wouldn't of used the sensu bean in the middle of a fight anyway only as a last resort again because of his pride.
gokus brain damage as u call it is what allowed him to appreciate the human race and also allow him to have such an emotional tie to kurillen to be able to go ssj.

Little Kuriboh's performance as Frieza was so fist-on-eye perfect that even Funimation (I think) made Frieza kinda sound like this in his new movie.

Hey guys, so I have only gotten this far into your react series, so you may have found this out an it later on. Just wanted to inform you that Goku is not saying what he says on purpose. As a baby he was dropped on his head. That caused some mental problems. He was also out right into training without any formal education. At all. He also had a bottomless pit of a stomach and can eat like there is no tomorrow. Being he was dropped and had no education, he is not the brightest person. He's saying what he says because he doesn't know any better, not because he is being a jerk. Just thought I'd give you guys a little insight :)
Juuust think of this Goku like a big manchild, it's okay.

The part where you guys were talking about the dog being in heat reminded me of my friend Anonymus#1 who had my other friend's large male dog actually hump her back while she was laying down and it left a spot on her jacket. She doesn't wear that jacket much anymore.

I love your reactions, and I know it's an old video, still just wanted to say the thing about Goku. Well he is ofcourse exagerrated in this version, it is a parody after all. You understand Goku better if you watch Dragon Ball, where he grew up as a wild child basically, he is very naive, and very kind, and obsessed with fighting, he never got a proper education and that's why lots of things that seem obvious, normal to us fly over his head. Maybe you should watch the real version of Dragon Ball/Dragon Ball Z to truly understand the character. Some jokes are funnier in DBZ abridged if you know the real story and the real characters, that's why Goku being much more stupid than he is in the original anime/manga is HILARIOUS ! I'm not saying it cause he is my favourite or whatever, i like Goku, but Gohan is my favourite DBZ character, to me he is perfect. But anyway love your reactions, and the fact that you love the show, and the jokes even if you haven't watched the original. :)

DBZ Info time! The dude with the moustache is Bulmas dad. XD Frieza is basically a space dictator. As you might remember, he was the one that destroyed Gokus home planet, Planet Vegeta. And we are not teasing you, Krillin does get some. And she's hot. But it's QUITE a while until that happens. On a sidenote, I hope you guys react to the first movies soon.

Don't Hug Me I'm Scared 6 came out yesterday on Father's Day (very important to remember that, and to remember that the yellow guys dad has been in every episode, lurking in the shadows.)
To answer the narrator's question at the end of Episode 10, you guys. You guys have never seen Dragon Ball Z or you'd know it's not really a spoiler, but yes. Krillin does get some.

Many are suggesting watching the DBZ movies abridged. Though they are not canon, and even if you tried to fit them within the continuum of the story, most won't even fit and don't even make a lick of sense when it comes to the DBZ story line, but the TFS abridged are still fun to watch.
Movies in their chronological placement.
Movie 1 happened (in the story line) before season 1, Radditz landed on earth, Goku got killed and Piccolo kidnapped Gohan, all of that began.
*So save to watch*
Movie 2 happened after end of season 1 (after Vegeta got defeated and left earth) But before season 2 started (before they left for planet Namek or the Yoshi planet, where they are at now)
*Save to watch*
Movie 3 has the same chronological placement as movie 2.
Movie 4 is a allot more trickier. No matter how you try it, it doesn't fit in the story line. Some of the plot points in this movie suggests it had to have happened before they went to Namek (yoshi planet) and others suggests it happened after that.
To make this movie less confusing, you have to watch the abridged series until after you've watched episode 25. During that episode something happens and without you knowing this, you will be very confused about something while watching this movie (and the placement of the movie in the chronology of the story is already confusing enough).
And suggesting watching this movie before episode 30 begins.
*Not save to watch until after episode 25 but watch it before episode 30*
Movie 5 happens after episode 34 but before episode 35.
Movie 6 is also like 4 makes no sense in the story line. Just (to make it less confusing) make sure you've watched episode 42 before it. Also watch this movie before episode 44 in case with the next movie.
Movie 7 also makes no sense in the story line, just watch it directly after watching episode 44 to make it allot more funnier. And also watch the first 30 seconds of episode 39 again before watching this movie.
