This movie did a fantastic job showing a rookie/ veteran cop dynamic. Smith chased after the cab and Jones just moseying over to the car like "we've got time when the chase can go out of orbit." It's stuff like this that makes me sad with how the other movies writing gradually declined.
I personally really liked MIBIII but I agree the second one was sub par and the latest on with Thor was Garbage.

I watched MIB 3, and, while it was good, and inventive, it didn't have quite the charm of the first two...or the first.
One of my favorite scenes in the first MIB, is where Will Smith's Character was in that Room with the Military Officers. What was strange about that particular scene, is that his character was the only one in that Room, to spot, and then utilize, that Table! The other "Geniuses" in the Room paid no mind to it...and were getting into all of these uncomfortable positions, trying to take the written part of the test.
Then, they go over to a Simulation Room, where Will Smith's Character is the ONLY ONE to figure out, that Tiffany, the little girl in that simulation, was the truly dangerous one in the entire simulation! That was because she, at only 8 or 9 years old, was carrying books on Quantum Physics Books...Books with enough information to wipe out the planet!

K is a veteran and great at what he do, J is still young and always on the go type, i love how they portray the gap in experiences and J needs to learn more especially when your hunting some bad aliens and a woman give you a hint and you took it as a flirt lmao, i would be cautious if someone flirt with me when im hunting or i might suspect the one flirting me 😂😂😂😂😂😂
there's an old story about an old and a young bull standing together at the top of the hill. the young bull says, "let's run down this hill into that meadow and we'll chase those cows and (mate) with one". and the older wiser bull says, "naw, let's walk down this hill and (mate) with all of them".
so it is a classic tale.

I know Will was at least 29 in this movie. He looks the same these days as he did back then. He's now 53. He never seems to age. I don't really like science fiction movies, but I watched Men In Black because I'm a Will Smith fan.

Cats that act are still very much cats and you have to get very lucky for them to do literally anything for a camera so it doesn’t surprise me that a lot of shots with the cat(s) didn’t involve the actor since they won’t want to stand around waiting for the cat to behave lmao

She was doing double entendres on Agent J while he didn't realize she wasn't literally talking about sex, although it sure as hell sounded like it!!!
She was really in reference to catching Edgar (Weaver, pun-intended) in the act who was hiding underneath her rolling tray...This was her undercover way of saying this to Jay so that Edgar Weaver could not tell what her and James were talking about...However, Edgar in disguise could tell how Will wasn't grasping how she was speaking of capturing Edgar from below her rolling tray! Edgar already knew this when he goes "Aww!" in annoyance with his head shaken to the side to Will's "That's just how I get down" statement...The Cricket was like "Oh, you're so slow, James...You are just not understanding what Laurel Weaver was talking about...Not literally, dumb ass!"-he says (no offense, Big Willy Style), just like Peter Parker in Spiderman 2 with Mary Jane Watson's comments...So Will just wasn't picking up on this until the very last moment...

I read that she's so impossible to work with that Tommy and Will only agreed to do thr sequel if they wrote her character out of it. Apparently sis is a whole diva. I loved her in dogma though!!
Also Kevin Smith who directed dogma said the same.
That was just a rumor, the real reason why she was scrapped was because they thought the character chemistry worked much better with Tommy Lee Jones instead of her. That and her role wasn't big enough as she was originally going to be a MIB mortician
There really is no substantial fact that Forentino is a diva. All there is are Kevin Smiths rants (but the guy has serious issues IMHO).
However, there are other rumors that she had a major fallout with Weinstein. I bet you guess what may have happened. However, her career ended shortly after, as she didn't get serious offers.

Good to see alien still using a pistol instead of his stinging tail. Alien did really tried to blend in with the others in this. He could have shot Kay and Jay with the pistol like he shot the police officer who towed his truck with Edgar's shotgun but he did not. Even though he knew he could easily shoot them with that before they could use the alien guns. He could have easily killed them with those and escape because they are humans. Maybe because he was in rush or something he did not use it.
I've seen this movie countless times and it just git me that K is striking up in a government building which is illegal also there's no indication before or after or in the movies since that he smokes or smoked at all.
