- Visits to the three moveable bridges on Conrail's (now NS) Chicago Line in Ohio between Cleveland and Toledo. These scenes were taken around Halloween 1998 with permission of the respective operators/bridge tenders. Today, the Port Clinton and Danbury bridges are controlled remotely by the Maumee bridge tender.
This was a great video...its not always about the train but where the train is that makes for a great video
Nice video and thanks for showing the operation of the bridge too. Seems like a lonely outpost but lots of train action.
Thanks for posting. Brings back alot of good memories.
This may be your best one yet! Great content and the bridge details are amazing! 19:45 had to be loud AF!!!
I was offered to come up to maumee bridge opr. Jim Reynolds Office but declined of height phobia in 92.
Enjoyed the video, I like RR bridges!
what does the “LMS” stand for on the front of those conrail engines?
Locomotive Management Service
Maximum railfanning trespassing on the bridge bonus points lol
