Like you, I like the Celebration model, Athenian Lady, plus I have all of the BF Celebration models (I live in Lexington & have been to every BF since 1992) so I’ll definitely get her. I’ll also get the crystal since I have all the others & want to keep the set complete. None of the others appeal to me enough to actually buy them, which is good since I’m not buying tickets. I haven’t purchased tickets since 2019 & won’t buy them as long as Breyer does preference lists & is cashless. How can I possibly know what models I prefer if I don’t know all the options? Which one is the matte/glossy split? Which will be the mane & tail variation? Which one will be the color split? Are there any micro runs? What’s the mold for the Surprise? How can I know which models I prefer if I don’t know these things? I will do all of my purchasing at the hotel, where I know exactly which model I’m buying & cash is king. The money I save by not getting my usual 2-4 tickets covers the mark up on the models, so I spend the same amount of money and get the models I want without standing in line in the heat or worrying about flaws. I also don’t have to worry about my credit card being hacked, which is exactly what happened the last two times I used it to buy directly from Breyer. It also happened to a couple of my hobby friends last year after using cards to get their SR’s. Breyer’s payment processing system isn’t secure. So between preference lists, going cashless & having my credit card info hacked I will not buy anything directly from Breyer. I can get what I want on the secondary market for the same amount of money or less if I wait 3-5 years. The BF runs have gotten so big that most don’t hold their value so I can wait.
