    Awesome Carlo! I’ve been waiting to see footage of the FW15 back in action. You quickly realized this is no typical push mower and you have to adjust your mowing habits/skills to maneuver this mower, knowing it’s a walk-behind. You’re right, this mower draws a lot of attention from passing vehicles. Some even stop to snap a photo or even record you while mowing. You maybe the next Forest Gump of Ferris-Snapper mowers!

      Lol 😆 so true. I had people from McDonald's next door just watching be cut as they eat there icecream 🍦. Yep I see what you mean about the cut isn't as good as the timemaster but this mower has revers thats all mowers should have.. I can't wait to try the mulch kit.

    I had a Timemaster - POS. Fell apart, no power. The Ferris is a monster and it just looks cool and well built. 👍

    I heard your belt slip when you engaged the blades. It seems to be common.
    Mine does it too.
    I need to learn how to adjust it.
    But I sure do enjoy the FW15.
    Couldn't afford the 36 Stander.
    After two years and only managing 4 lawns (Cancer) diagnosis Dec 2020 but doing good - Still in treatments...
    I've learned to let the mower do the work after a few dozen hours. And yes sir, I do emit the reverse BUT... it's weak on ANY incline.
    Great Video👊🏼💚

    Ensure both belts are properly adjusted, if the v belt is loose the blades won't maintain speed in heavy conditions. The factory blades are real nice, the factory wavy blades are crap- won't lift anything, don't fill the bagger. G6 gator blades lift and chop like a boss and fill the bagger.
    BTW, it was those sexy legs everybody was stopping to look at! Lol

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před rokem

      Lol. Not my legs.. its the mower. Yep iv noticed that I need to fix the belt. Thanks for the info on this f15. It's new to me .. the more I use it the more I like it

    I found that the high-lift oem blades or the G6 gator blades to a great job on my 15.

      @@thecuttingforce I've had my 15 for about 2 years and still love it. I put a mulch kit on it a week after I got it, I highly recommend it. I too also have quite a few videos here on CZcams on it but I focus on how it performs on steep embankments. Feel free to check them out. All I can say about the Ferris is that it's a beast and literally blows the competition out..

  • @TonysLawnCare215

    The real Truth is that the Ferris FW15 Is not Built for Mulching It is designed for side discharging ONLY. For (Commercial Property Mowing) Commercial property owners don't give a shit about mulching the grass they just want it cut using a mulching for the commercial property is a personal preference of the operator of the Ferris FW15 But they made a Mulch kit anyway for it (For Home Users) and the bagging system Kit To suck up Home property tree leaves ect.. That is why 3 different type blades to use (High Lift, Medium lift Blades) for side discharging, and mulching blades to mulch Grass and leaves For The Bagging System --->( FOR THE HOME USER ONLY ) 👍

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před rokem +2

      Yep i figerd that out by now. Same thoughts... im in the clean look grasscutting on all my yards that how i got the commercial. They wanted a quality cut.. so use the timemaster on it..

    Awesome man I gonna get that mower this year and then changed my mind and got a toro turf master hxd. If I got it id just mulch with it. Last year I was bagging a ton of grass now Im not I've sold customs on mulching. I can't wait to see what your thoughts are with the mulch kit on.
    I'm to the point where I hate to push mow lol

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před rokem +2

      Yep mulching is the way to go. I can't wait to try thy mulching kit. Only thing is it's mulching only you can't bag or discharge with the kit . . So it's one or the other.. but this Fw15 is fun to use.

      Yes, I know but I have the commercials 30 toro and Exmark. I'd keep the toro and sell the exmark and use it for bagging then get a Ferris for mulching mower

    The mulch kit leaves a poor cut quality with the original medium lift blades or the wavy blades. The blocker shut is the way to go with this mower since it will throw grow 20 feet with the original sideshute.

    Not a commercial mower, just a homeowner. But after watching your video and several others, I dont like that chute blocker. When you open it, it spits out big clumps that you have to re-mow. I like side discharging and tidying up with the blower. I am so luvin' that mower though. Its so far above the Toro and Ex-Mark. I'm unfamiliar with mulching, so cant offer anything there.

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před 7 měsíci

      It has its ups and downs.. it take time to learn how to cut with it. It's a hevy mower it will out power the toro/emark. But the toro is eazyer to use. And the toro cut quality is better on all types of grass . There are many types of shoot blockers. They all aftermarket... this fw15 is best for thick or wet grass jobs.

    • @joshuaryanferguson3702
      @joshuaryanferguson3702 Před 7 měsíci

      for it being 3k in price i think its worth it though i think ill keep the side cute on the side of it an just get a mulch plate to slide down the chute to block it an get the rear bagger attachment so when i want to bagg or mulch ill just lift the chute up

    I watched Billygoat's videos where he put the 2 mowers, Timemaster and FW16, in a head to head test. It seemed like he thought the Timemaster had a better cut quality. What do you think so far as to cut quality?

    • @thecuttingforce
      @thecuttingforce  Před rokem +1

      The timemaster cuts better. I still use the timemaster on yards that are important to me. Some types of grass cut better than others with the Fw15. I've noticed.
