I used to have a jewelry casket just like that, in a handheld size, polished silver. I believe, looking at the design, it could very well date 1930s, not Edwardian or older Victorian. I love satin glass! I call it “frosted”, even though I know it’s wrong!😆 I agree, the darker earthy colors, such as “brown satin”, work back to antique decor beautifully, despite being mid-century! Mix it up!!!!!! When it comes to jewelry, I want Bakelite & Lucite bangles, except I can’t seem to find any that fit me!!!!!!!!😆 The antique whale oil burner is GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, yes, it’s phenomenal!!!!!!! NO, I would NOT polish it!!!!!!!! The patina is STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!! My favorite piece from today’s show!!!!!😍😍 The Limoges brooch is pretty okay, I guess, but not anywhere as exciting as my Limoges patch boxes containing perfume solids. Hmmmmmm…..I’ve always had mixed feelings about “prisms” dangling off any glass pieces…..not sure why.🧐 Fantastic video!👍🏻
Michael thank you for thinking of those who may not have the space for large pieces. I fall into that category plus I consider empty space a decorating element. A while back I purchased two gorgeous, brown apothecary bottles from you and I'm still enjoying them very much as well as the beautiful little package extras you sent. I put the four precious, little fairy cards in a 1887, Limoges hand-painted bone dish. The cards are very nice. Thank you!

What a fun haul Michael!! Of course my favorite is the gold and emerald color pendant 😮, it’s stunning!!
I remember the tiny cameo stick pins, they were popular late 60’s early 70’s and were often used on silk scarves. I did still have one, no clue where 🤷🏼♀️, probably in the wooden box with my bobble head poodle 🐩 pins LOL.

I like a good haul. I grew up with MCM in my house then the 70's color palette in the early days of being married so it doesn't excite me. I love the little vases because as you said they can fit in smaller areas.

I thoroughly enjoyed the video and loved the relaxed pace. I didn't know Bohemian glass was region, rather than type.
Great haul, I love the blue glass beads. I am almost sure the first brooch is by the brand 1928 - they made victorian & deco revival jewelry starting around the 80s or so. All of their pieces are embossed with that swirl pattern on the back.

I just wanted to tell you that the little change purse is called a Tam O’Shanter named after the Scottish hats. They were made from late 1890’s to the 1950’s.
Kia Ora Michael, loooove the show and tell. I will watch either haul or shop videos. I came here after watching the replay of today's live sale. My most favourite pieces (yes plural) was the two necklaces (1) camphor pendant one (note bc the cc was not available I googled it earlier as I heard it as 'camper' on the replay yep I did🤣🤣) and (2) the faux pearl pendant one. I am not going to share with you what I heard instead of bail. All I know now is I need to get my ears checked 😂😂🤣🤣
