This has a superb true final boss theme.

Good job also including the final boss of the second playable character. Her route allows to understand the full story.
While this 3DS version is more recent, the original is from 2008 and is still an amazing action game after so many years, short but sweet and worth of a few playthroughs for all the content. Sad that the developer Konjak by his own admission has trouble focusing on his projects so Iconoclasts took a decade after this.

Closest thing to a spiritual successor to gunstar if I've ever seen one and it's magnificent! Main character's design is a clear give away on its inspiration.
