Have you seen the price of cereal these days? A box of cereal I bought on sale pre pandemic for like $3, now costs $5 or more. So no Mr. CEO, cereal is not affordable anymore.

Adulthood has given me a love/hate relationship with cereal: I’ll always love it for the fun/nostalgic value it gave me growing up. But all in all, cereal is basically just human formula pet kibble 😑

People lived for 1000s of years, look at their breakfast habits. Realize why we grew into what we are, practice that. If you think the cereals of this day are bad (which they are) despite the added artificial vitamin & mineral additives, think how bad it was when you were eating it, nothing but sugar.
I can afford the cereal three times a day, it's the milk I have a problem with.

We ate Cereal for Dinner, Lunch or Supper when money was tight. We also ate Bread n Butter sandwiches, Ketchup or Mayo Sandwiches. When you're poor, it's amazing what combinations of what food you have to make a meal. Fried Pickle sandwiches, Oatmeal Pancakes, Rice and Milk, Bone Soup, etc..

I love cereal. Tastes good, quick and easy, no clean up. Mmmmm.... When I was 6 y/o or so, my grandparents ate lots of Kellogg corn flakes. They came with a little cellophane bag in the box with 2 marbles in it. They saved up a wash tub full of marbles for me. Dad had to divvy them up into 3 or 4 buckets so he could carry them and I had marbles for years. Live was good.
