I hope they can get rid of the "floating" combat feeling. I like the game and I'm a participant of the early access since a couple years, but the combat just feels.. meh. I think I read somewhere they're tackling this issue for the 1.0 launch. Fingers crossed.
Tbh, same that's been one of my complaints for nearly 5 years. Combat has improved slightly in this regard. It used to feel like you were just slicing paper and really no impact. They added many visualy upgrades over the years to fix the paper feeling issue imo. Always room for improvement. 1.0 hype!
thats nice and all, but i dont believe this will be a top tier arpg for years or decades. it doesnt do anything outstanding except for a more accessible, yet cusomizable skill system. the rest is just cookie cutter standard arpg gameplay. same old generator/spender 1 button combat, its beyond me how ppl dont get bored of this. and on top of it, im pretty sure once PoE 2 hits, 90% of arpg players will make that their main game.
Yeah, players hop games all the time, thats how it is these days. Great to have options :) Personally I have been playing Last Epoch for 5 years, and plan to play for many more! Its always the game I go back to and call home. PoE2 will be a great ARPG as well, the future is bright for ARPGs.
