On my HC character I focused on my defenses and I've been clearing the campaign just fine. Boss killing was a little slow, but I didn't have to worry about dying either, so I considered it a wash.

I always do the opposite, then get to echos and cry thst I die all the time. Some day, I'll learn to go for more. Def 😆
