Whenever I was in kindergarten, there was this janitor at my school and I would always talk to him during lunch. His name was RJ and he was really nice. Everyday before leaving the lunchroom, I’d always say hi to him and tell him something I thought was cool or funny and he just listened. It’s nice knowing that he was so kind enough that after cleaning up classrooms, bathrooms and trash, he would take his time before cleaning up after us kindergartener’s lunch trash to listen to me.

I worked as a substitute high school janitor for a little side money. I had 2nd shift so no one was in the building except janitors, grounds and maintence. Maintence and grounds left at 9PM so it was just the janitor crew for the rest of the night. I had the 3rd floor which was the top floor. It was storming pretty bad that night and the lights were flickering. I was cleaning one of the bathrooms and the lights continued to flicker. I finished up quick, not for fear of anything just wanted to get home before the storm got bad. So I was walking down a hallway and got spooked because the door for the stairs slammed closed right as I walked around a corner. Then the power went out. Every single door slammed in the building due to the electro-magnetic locks for fire suppression. Just like bam bam bam bam bam all around me. Yeah, I ran down the stairs fast as hell and called it a night!
then what happened?

Bro I would of done the same thing lol I used to be a janitor and I would work the 2nd shift and it will suck especially working alone.
Last story: you can (and should) still call the cops if someone appears to be acting like they're trying to trap you in a location/situation for nefarious purposes. Hearing multiple people in the room like that then seeing only one is absolutely a potentially threatening situation the cops can be asked to check out.
No kidding, that guy was an idiot to not call the police. Some people in these stories are like watching an 80s horror movie thinking no no no don’t do that….
Hearing several people but only seeing one. After hours deep at night. What could possibly go wrong?
Just the lights been off is already a red flag, he insisting to come inside it's enough to for me to say let me bring my friend who understands better the remote control

That's like the first damn thing everyone should ever do in all of these videos. My favorite are people knocking on doors at night. I wouldn't even answer acknowledging my presence. I'd just call the police and tell them someone is knocking on my door at 3am.
As a janitor myself who works late nights, a word of advice would be to know where (if any) the security cams are and lock yourself in the monitor room so you can have an eyes on stranger danger and call the cops.

as a janitor myself in my own school, i can assure everyone that 90% of the janitors are so sweet and you should never be scared of them, if you are at school at night and notice something weird or you need to find a janitor go to where your school loading docks are, usually near the cafeteria kitchen, usually there break room is around there, or i suggest checking upstairs rooms or roofs if you can access them, usually they smoke up there :)
Yeah, our janitor at high school was somewhat of a role model for us young guys, he was a freelance carpenter doing a janitor side-job, in his 50-s, big guy, well-built. We were a bunch of wild young rebels without a cause and whenever we messed up (nothing serious, typical teenager tomfoolery), he convinced the principal to "punish" us by having us help him with the handywork. This way, I learned how to replace a toilet, glass a window and similar jobs. Whenever we meet with my classmates from high school, stories involving him always come up, good memories

I'm not a janitor, but one time at Wal*mart one of the bathroom stalls was splattered with feces and poopy toilet paper. I'm sure that was horrifying for the janitor.

Sometimes when closing the stores in the mall they take a minute to close usually they have a lock and then shield that comes over the store . So if he would’ve stopped to hit the closing button that guy could’ve had a chance to run out in time . Plus since he said “ Shh “ their could’ve been multiple people there & he just didn’t wanna hurt him right away .
That wouldn't have mattered. There is a back exit to a long hallway to the outer exits or directly to outside. 😉
Story 1 theory: The man in the mask was the security guard that supposedly didn't show up for work. He showed up in a mask so he'd be unrecognizable. Also what if he has a copy of keys as well. Maybe that's how he got inside 🤔

The janitor at my JR high school was definitely one very unique and caring individual ✌️He was always helping out the students talking to them when needed
He was truly cared for by all the students and Staff👍🏻
So it was Very depressing time when he retired👍🏻

Worked as an overnight janitor for many years. Glad I never had anything this creepy happen to me.
At both of the hotels I worked at, absolutely nobody was to go into a guest's room while they were in there for any reason, even if it seemed like something quick and easy. You never know what could happen. They could hurt you or they could accuse you of hurting them.

Here’s something that happened to me. I’m a lead janitor for a community college. I work early mornings till mid afternoon, I’m by myself for about 3 hours, which is always my favorite part of the day. I clean about 15-20 class rooms every morning, it’s a pain but i don’t mind it that much. Every class room locks it’s self as soon as the door shuts, so i carry a set of keys with me so i can have access to the class rooms. I cleaned the ones downstairs and then make my way upstairs. I always clean left to right so i walk my way down a long hallways lined with doors that lead to class rooms. I get to the one at the end. I pull out my keys and begin to unlock the door. As i open the door, the light from the hallway started to light up the class room. There, i see a tall, dark figured standing there, i freak and turn the lights on immediately. I see that he’s facing the wall. He turns around and says “Oh hi! I’m sorry, i didn’t mean to startle you”
I notice he was an older male, probably in his late 30s, he was wearing the clothes of someone who works for the school’s maintenance, but I’ve never seen him before. Still weirded out but i reply “it’s okay” as i give a nervous chuckle
“Well I’ll leave you be” he responds and slowly walks down the hall way. I watch as he stops at the water fountain and stares at it. He then looks back at me and makes his way towards the stairs and down them.
I felt frozen in place because i was confused to what just happened… now, the school i work at isn’t a very big one and it’s very very quiet in the mornings. I never heard a door open and close. And what also came into my head, my car was the only car in the parking lot, there wasn’t any cars parked anywhere close. He was standing in the dark, staring at a wall… i talked to a couple people later that day and no one knew who he was. It’s been about a month since that happened and I’ve never seen him again since. Every now and then in the mornings I’ll hear foot steps or what sounds like doors opening and closing. And there won’t be a single person here but me. One of the maintenance guys I’ve talked to before has told me some of the ghost stories here and how lights will flicker or doors will fly open. I still don’t have a clue who that guy was or why he was acting the way he was. Very very strange and probably the creepiest encounter I’ve ever had at a job before.

I'm a trauma survivor and have been unable to watch or listen to any type of suspenseful or even semi-scary or sad story content In many, many years. I'm really glad that this channel has got me back to the point where I can listen to things without having a breakdown and finding myself being emotionally caught up in the story. I've gone through a lot, and for the life of me still I can't understand why somebody likes watching those type of like saw movies, slasher films or whatever. I just can't stand anything that shows people and pain or suffering. but these videos got a nice dose of suspense and thrill without showing people suffering or depictions of women being abused, so it's much more tolerable for me.
I'm a custodian at a college..my shift starts at 5 am. In the winter it's really dark in the morning and I am alone in my building after i punch in. I have heard some really creepy noises coming from my area that would make the hairs on the back of your neck run for cover....spooky

Yo same shit. Our auditorium was terrifying. I literally saw someone like a little girl running out of it thru a doorway at the back. We ran after her and there was nobody outside. We looked all over and she was gone. Never went back in there after dark

I listen to different creepy pastas before bed and usually fall asleep midway through I can’t do that with these though. Don’t know if it’s the sound effects or stories themselves but these things definitely keep me awake. Keep up the great work, your definitely one of the best I’ve come across

People really have no clue how dangerous it is to be a janitor. We have to deal with junkies and homeless hanging outside of buildings. Plus you have no clue who or what is waiting in that building. We have to work late nights and lots of times we are walking around in the dark trying to find light switches. Lots of places don’t have alarm systems. A few times I’ve ran into people trying to stay warm in the winter by sneaking into an account and then they get high and then we come in to a scary surprise.
I’ve also worked a few very haunted spots in my city, buildings that are a hundred years old. Found a few people who OD in the bathroom, one died and then we had to clean up the blood and mucus at 3am. Go to school and be something other than a janitor unless you got guts.
I'm scared I've constantly have to look in the corner of my room🤣
I enjoy your channel, I appreciate and think you stand apart when the stories aren't all over dramatic teenagers and people who seem to have common sense, but you could probably find images and sound tracks that are more original. With that being said, I subscribed and have watched all your videos! Just giving feedback. Last thing, listening to hundreds of Mr Nightmare and other reddit narrations, I get personally bored of hearing "I still have no idea what their intentions were" we all assume their attentions and its a worn out phrase imo 💁♀️ but, Thats just me. As a former "custodian" we see some wild shit alone in schools late night. Definitely have some stories and most were with my buddy so I don't sound crazy.
So I'm a person that normally is skeptical about a lot of things only a couple things have happened to me that I really can't explain but recently I began to work as a janitor in hopes to become an engineer of a building eventually. and in the building I'm working in there's a lot of old people and the building itself is pretty old aswell.I told my engineer from the very beginning if anyone had passed away just out of curiosity because the building is almost a hundred years old anyways said that yes tons of people have passed away over the years because of their age of course. but ever since I began working on that building and when I have to clean the basement where the residents keep their locker there's this back area where I just feel this really heavy and creepy feeling all the time that I've never felt before. and there's multiple times where I'm cleaning a hallway and I hear footsteps coming right behind me and I turn around thinking its a resident but no one is there. and yeah I will admit I find it creepy but the thing that creeps me out the most is, that I became friends with the janitor next door from my building and we were talking about just ghost stories because he told me he's a huge believer and I go and find out that he actually began working as a janitor in the building I'm at. and he told me the things that I've experienced before I even mentioned it to him and he told me all the spots where he felt weird the footsteps were he heard them and it was spot-on with the my experience so yeah thats my story.

I was a Forman for a high rise maintenance company and the shit I caught those yuppies doing after hours was fucking epic. It was in a huge oil town and the four tower complex was almost exclusively world class oil companies and large investment/ financial firms. Was truly eye opening to the depravity of people who spend most of their lives portraying themselves as such upstanding citizens.

Years ago at my schools at least the janitors were some if not the most popular adults. Later at work I worked night shifts I knew the janitorial staff quite well. Some of the greatest people. Also heard a couple of Really CREEPY incidents one guy experienced at a former work place! I was checking my office constantly for oddities for a long time after I heard those tales!

One time in elementary school, my parents went to a town hall-style meeting with the principal at nigh, and brought me and my sister with. We were so bored, especially since the meeting went on forever. The janitor noticed this and actually offered to open the gym for us and bring out the basketballs so we could at least do something. We declined, and the meeting ended moments later, but 20 years later, I still remember how kind it was for the janitor to offer to do that for us.

There was a yard worker at my high school that I always said hi to, usually he looked really sad, never smiled and never said much to anyone other than hello, one day I said hi, he replied and we had a nice cheerful chat, he had this big smile on his face, he looked absolutely elated. The next day we found out that night after I spoke to him he killed himself by dropping a circular saw into his stomach. True story.
In the second story, the man in the janitorial closet was just an aspiring photographer that came to the school to practice his art. He was booting up the computer to watch a few CZcams videos about photography, when he was rudely interrupted by the narrator of the story. Looking at the good in the situation, the photographer decided he needed someone to look at his photos and tell him if they were good and what he could do better. Since the janitor said he was about to leave, the other guy ran towards him, afraid that he would go back up the basement stairs before he could show him the pictures. It was just a huge misunderstanding.
