As the next new character we have Maruto Cuts on the line, who starts off with the new weapon called Eskizzibur, which evolves into Legionnaire. Themed as a weapon that deals retaliation damage, we end up focusing purely on that by combining all 3 retaliatory swords together into a masterpiece.

Since I see this comment a lot: I didnt go for Heaven Sword because it has no retaliatory damage, which was the main focus of the video. Originally the plan was to include Hellfire, Shroud and No Future, but I always feel meh about Shroud, and No Future + Hellfire have the downside that the actual attacks do not count as retaliatory damage, meaning they work against the theme of the video. It just ended up being 3 swords that work the best in this case as a nice "coincidence" (saying that in quotation marks since it looks like the dev is going with a theme), and not really because the goal was "only swords"
I don't know if you noticed but you tanked a hit from the reaper at 24:01
I thinks the reason you survive so long is you rarely get hit form the reaper since your attack rate is so insanely fast, and got invincible period form sole solution. Actually, I think most damage you took is from your own Muramasa, since it damage you by percentage, and you can no longer heal from it's life drain ability.
To break the crystal you need the evolved arrow weapon then hit the crystal with the attack
I created this exact build on day 2 of the dlc
I’m pretty sure that with some weapons you can only get the evolution after 11 minutes have passed.
Damn, he's using the Three Sword Style. No wonder he's so strong.
And with all that amount, it's kinda like Nine Sword Style if you think about it

This has to be a reference to Guts from Berserk, who used a similar giant slab of metal as a sword. The last name is even "Cuts" which rhymes and also sounds like Guts
On top of those, the item that evolves the giant murder fridge is the armour. Absolutely is Guts.

To the right of the crystal there is a fence in the woods that you can walk under, this is the secret area to get the caterpillars to spawn.
Sole Solution didn't appear because with some exceptions, evolutions can only be found from chests dropped from bosses spawned after 10 minutes.
On Mad Forest, Moonspell, and both Foscari stages the first chest can evolve, and in Dairy Plant every one can. There are others, like the ones dropped by the big skeletons in Moonspell and probably others I forgot about. Gyorunton's special ability makes every chest able to evolve
The evolution is amazing with solo limit break, it's the highest kill count I have personally managed, even higher than victory sword or lightning ring. I'm interested how it will compare with your much better play.
(Also, you can go through walls during the finisher animation. Though there's an even better character for that...)
then try sammy with gold heal arcana, you become gold god
if your game lags enough you can go trough any wall lmao
200% move speed does this easily without lag.
For these new characters, it would be interesting if you showed their starting stats and special abilities like you used to do at the start of videos. I’m curious to see what they do as I’ve not had the chance to play the DLC yet
@8:25 @13:00 Yeah, I think Lake Foscari is a 10min evo stage, but the 2min(?) first boss chest can evolve, like Mad Forest. I think Mt Moonspell also has a 1min evo chest possibility, don't remember.

I just did a solo weapon limit break in the library with the Eskizzibur & the evolution. I think my final damage was like +65,000% or something crazy like that... 😅
I did something similar before this dlc, I think with megalo Syuuto, and yeah the numbers definitely got high
Library is perfect for him due to how Legionaire works. You can get stupid amounts of bonus healt that way. xD

You can only break the crystal with the archer character. The crystals are color coded.
Blue for the mage
Red for the swordsman
Green for the archer
Man… still hasn’t found the caterpillar room. Such a shame. You know the maze on the right side of the map has multiple entrances right. You can go through the forest maze where the metaglio is from the start too the crystal without taking the secret entrance.
P.S. the caterpillar room isn’t in that maze, but it is close to the top exit.
This character is awesome i love the weapon and the special little animation with it
You missed a sword....With Luck on the STage, Heaven Sword should have been a no-brainer even if you have to pretend the boomerang is a weird sword before it evolves...,

FUN FACT.. His combo finisher animation, makes him glitch through walls and barriers.. Also speed from 40% and upwards does the same 😊
I heard that wall walking is a lot easier in the new engine, can't test though since I don't have it on steam

Was playing only the maruto sword with silent old sanctuary instead the first arcana and managed to get 300k hp and somehow became invincible to reapers
You can press the pause button under the gold count to check your stats even while rapidly leveling up, no idea why esc won't let us do that
with all the things added in the new dlc. without a doubt sammy is the most broken thing in this game now..... can easily get him to lvl 800 within minutes of starting......
If i dont take a bunch of filler weapons i cant even get to 10 min without the game lagging out xD
Gold rush + wicked season makes him soooo overpowered
Don't think of it to be bad to have high up when your damage can scale on how damaged you are but rather as additional survivability when you run into enemies tough enough to actually damage you. Tough enemies that need that damage will get it, while weaker ones will get more appropriate damage

u can seal the gold fever in collection menu, it just saved me from lag
Probably forgot or just didn't feel like it but, if you start with only the 1 main weapon, you can get the Candy Box for the Victory Sword, and then Super Candy Box to get the Night Sword Evo without needing to get the Stone Mask, so you'd have that free slot for a different item.
Note that the Candyboxes are both random, only in penta chests they are guaranteed. You can go an entire run without getting them - which is not that great if you want to make a video about something :P
@Dex for the Green Stone you need the Arcers weapon on evolution and then you get a new state, where you can finde a red stone, for the sword weaon on evolution, and then a blue for the mage weapon on evolution and then....fun will happens :D trust me :D

You can still level up after 30 minutes. Just yesterday I had to wait 80 minutes for [SPOILER] to finish levelling up so I could grab chests and evolve his weapons to take out heavily roided Reapers. Got up to to level 7K and Infinite Corridor did 2.6T damage
With characters that can eliminate many enemies in a short time or the worm (new character) that gets experience by getting gold, you can make you continue to level up after 30 minutes because there are many accumulated levels.
@@gasYotube Yep. They even increased the level up speed in one of the patches for this DLC so he can actually finish on occasion. Which does mean he gets higher DPS on Disco Sarabande with gold level ups, but there isn't really a way to fix that without taking away the reward for being smart about what to stack up, which is the whole point of the game
@@snegglepuss6669 Instead of leveling 1 at a time directly to the indicated level, I find the animation of leveling up so many times unnecessary.
@@gasYotube If you choose Always Big Money Bag on level up, Disco+Sarabande procs on every level up. Having them all go at once would be a cheap way to delete a lot of harder bosses, but it could definitely be a bit faster. Stat growth, particularly curse and greed, would be an issue, though, especially on Sammy, since it'd feed his positive feedback loop even more. And growth increases would need to be calculated or you'd lose out on big jumps, though that's just calculating compound interest

So after playing for more than 400 hours myself, the part where you start taking damage is because you're actually too strong, because of your might. Each attack is going to do damage to you, but since you're healing at the same time. You'll be fine.
The combo of these weapons gave me such ridiculous amounts of health and damage that the game became a joke to me. Even the reaper feared me.
I will the next character the archer that can unlock the green crystal is the weakest of the new characters.
And btw the Samy character, is extremely good at getting lots of gold and lots of XP. Like 2000 lvls in 30 min, on my first try, but the lag was very real the last few minutes on the timer.
Might be good for a never move challenge.

This would have been perfect if you had taken Hollow Heart instead of Armor at the start. The extra 100% (empty) health would have doubled the might bonus. Surviving the beginning would have been a bit iffy with poor chicken drops though.

I tried this with all of the slash weapons I could, the muramasa kills me since it doesn’t end up getting that many kills with everything else
Sole Solution is fun when u first get it but then it becomes really boring real fast. Its extra easy mode and just doesnt feel good to use. I wish it was galaxy projectiles, that would be more interesting.

I made like 2mil gold yesterday using Sammy in an hour, money making worm for the win, play it next 13min gold fever so far is my highest
It's a massive glitch currently in which it is so easily breaks and cannot evolve
I found out that you can go through walls with maruto when he is doing it s big slam on the ground, really funny glitch

Okay so i did this build. but also got holy sword. the reaper had to wait for 5 min to kill me. and lvl 1715. all i can see it giant sword flying around :D with queen sigma
the last wave dont give XP on the new map from what i have seen. Also they are super easy to kill
I ended up with the same weapons oddly enough but didn't figure how to evolve the new sword.
Just so you know for future dlcs, all the stage items are used to evolve one of the new weapons. For example with Moonspell:
Orb > robe
Dupe > night
Mask > sword
Pumarola > wind
Spinach/candle > seasons

17:07 why half of the HP is added as bonus damage?
I understand that Awake (IV) gives +10% Max Health, +1 Armor, and +5% Might, Area, Duration, and Speed when revival is consumed; and also that when Reaper kills you, your HP is halved...;
but how does that correlate to bonus damage? Isn't the only damage factor related in this case the +5% might?
As for why you're not getting XP in the last wave, the minute 29 enemies don't drop any gems. It's really lame.

In the Abyss version of this stage if you use this build where you can pick up taronas box you can farm endless golden eggs. I used laurel and 2 swords and got half a million eggs afk
