The late Rev Dr Ian Paisley was an American trained preacher who opposed civil rights for Ulster's R.C minority and incited attacks on the R C through rabble rousing diatribes. Paisley was the catalyst behind attacks on R.C homes from c1969 onwards, sabotaging any peace or power sharing until old age. While Paisley was not directly linked to any terrorism his No Surrender stance led to riots, injuries and deaths. The Provisional IRA was under orders not to kill Paisley as they considered him good for recruitment. It is fair to say Paisleys rants were a major contributor to the Ulster troubles of the late 20th century. Old age did mellow him and things calmed down 2000 but July marching season still causes skirmish es and hard line Unionists of Paisleys DUP party still bicker in the back ground

I know a lot of people will probably disagree with me, but I truly think that Pope Francis would be on that list (or he ought to be).
Add Pope Benedict the XVI and Pope who is a Borgia. One for not actioning both Vatican Bank money laundering, and the Vatican Leaks. One for nepotism.

By all accounts, his anger management skills aren't much better than those of the average three-year-old. The former Jesuit superior reported that then-Jorge Bergoglio was known to frequently use foul language and explode in fits of childish rage when things didn't go his way.
He sold out faithful Catholics in China to the CCP.
He gave multiple scandalous interviews to pseudo-journalist Eugenio Scalfari, who in turn would report Francis denying significant dogmas of the Church.
He has a long track record of viciously and hypocritically berating faithful Catholics who attend the Latin Mass.
To name a few.

Mackenzie Ministries, is a new religious movement which was based in Shakahola, Kilifi, Kenya, and was founded by Paul Nthenge Mackenzie and his first wife in 2003. The Shakahola Forest incident lead to the deaths of 241 by Mass starvation, suffocation, strangulation, blunt trauma when Mackenzie's followers were instructed to go without food to "meet Jesus"

I remember when the Jim Jones horror happened. Jones had a good idea at the start. Equality and love. Then the drugs started and his god complex came through. It was so heartbreaking.

I don't think he "changed" I think Jim Jones was always that radical religious extremist. He was just good at hiding it. Why else would he send his people to a far away land like Guyana? IMO he wanted to be as far away from the as government as possible so he could "rule" over his people without the US interfering.

I remember back in 2007 the Westboro Baptist Church were planning on showing up at Fort Hood to protest either a memorial or funerals or something. We heard about this after we just got back from Iraq and decided to spray them all down with paintball guns. We had a wild plan, we drove out to where the protests were in a junker car a friend loaned us and we’re decked out in paintball gear. When we got to the place we did a literal drive by and sprayed down every single person we saw, then we ditched the car and gear at a salvage yard, switched into regular clothes, and went our separate ways until meeting up at our favorite diner later. No one ever suspected it was us!

so i'm not the only one who noticed the Manson discrepancy.
I think bcause both of them didn't use religion as the main basis/purpose of their cult. Applewhite was openly obsessed with UFO's/aliens and Manson was more obsessed with starting a race war and murdering people for power. While they both had religious elements to them I think it's more of a secondary or even tertiary component rather than the main driving factor.
