Terraria: Which Melee weapon is better against Daytime Empress of light? Speed kill in Master mode. Mobile 1.4.4.9
-Journey Master mode
-No Hit + Speed kill
-Post golem gear
3 proofs that I did not use god mode
-I don't get hit if you look closely
-I always unalive myself after the battle
-My HP is low if I use god mode my Ho will be Instant Full.

I was little confused at first see the flying dragon take much time to defeat the empress of light than terrablade despite this give more damage, but I remember that flying dragon does not gain a benefit in melle speed, so that's make sense

also you should've also included scourge of the corruptor or vampire knives
Vampire knives aren't good for DPS compared to the other melee weapons of their tier. I heard that Scourge sacrifices DPS for range but I haven't tested it myself yet in 1.4.4
I do love healing my hp while fighting day eol!
That too lol, the vampire knives are useless on daytime Empress of light due to her gaining the capability to one shot you regardless of armor.

And yes Projectile from influx and dragon are better than Terrablade.
Terrablade only won due of easy to hit and huge close range attack.

I am also pretty sure that you can kill them even more faster with mixed armor sets without sacrificing a lot of attack speed while still having ton of stats
You could also get your mount wet for 15% more damage!!
My shrimps truffle is already in rain.
Beetle scale mail is only better for terrablade it's because it gives very high melee speed and damage but beetle scale mail is not recommend for other melee weapons.
You will need Atleast 104% melee speed for terrablade.

You ll have 104% atspd so use armor mixing

Hallowed mask + shinobi + Valhalla greaves = 45% damage and 30% melee speed
Beetle scale mail = 52% damage and 42% melee speed (bonus activated)
So you are very very wrong.
Starlight is super underrared no melee mains use it😭😭😭
You should use it along with long ranged options.

@@somefries3101 I get your point, but in a regular playthrough I believe that Starlight should be used alongside with long ranged options, maybe use starlight for regular enemies and something like Terrablade for events/bosses.
I use it but bot for bosses.
Against ant regular enemy though it clrars them so fast.

@@Meowlegend7 I also don't agree that modding bosses should be bullet hells, they don't fit and also don't work pretty well because of Terraria's movement. However Touhou is not to blame because modders execute stuff like that in the incorrect game, it also doesn't mean that Touhou is bad because EoL, Touhou is a distinct genre and i even find Terraria to be harder than Touhou.

Why do you need exactly 104% melee speed on the terra Blade?
If you have 104% melee speed
Your terrablade will have 8.98 ticks per second.
If you have like 134% melee speed it will go down to 8.04 ticks per second.
It's only get worst if you have too much melee speed.
By going for 104% is perfect and you don't need to sacrifice many accessories for such amount melee speed.

Flying dragon is still a very good weapon, it has more base damage than the terra blade, its just a little bit slower because it doesnt benefit from melee speed

I didn't mention this before because I was too butthurt seeing the Flying Dragon in last place, let alone losing to the Terra Blade too
But I knew the Starlight would've won 1st place because I had personal experience being a True Melee main, it's damage is absurd, and it's reach is long enough to consistently deal that damage to begin with
But like you said the North Pole might have the potential surpassed the Starlight due to lessoning the movement
Flying dragon is still better than terrablade against Moonlord but bad for EOL, Duke.
Usually people using very wrong setup for Terrablade like too much melee speed and too low melee speed making it looks garbage.
104% melee speed is a perfect build for Terrablade.
And for North Pole it's the best weapon against her while starlight is being Post-EOL. Both of them are much risky to use otherwise it's influx waver is better

And the 104% Melee Speed thing, glad Terra Steel uploaded it so we know the optimal setup for the Terra Blade
