You know what would have been cool? If there was a feature in game where you can let Johnny take control (or partial control) during combat, turning V into even more of a super badass. Like that movie that came out a few years ago called “Upgrade” where a paralyzed man gets an AI implanted into his brain stem to control his movements and it turns him into a killing machine when the AI takes control.

I totally dig that idea. For example, you could dual-wield one-handed weapons this way, and a spectre-hand of Johnny Silverhand would appear stating that it is in control of that, as seen in many video games, for example Shadow of Mordor or Shadow of War, where the ghost helps in combat. And you could perk up that initially you reload normally and Johnny reloads the pistol in that badass-way, then there would be a perk that allows for faster reloading with that animation. Or you could use Johnny's memories to recall things that were there before and ghost buildings would tell the story historically of a building that was there before. This way, you could solve cold cases. There is potential in what you say!

i had the same idea but as a skill tree for the RELIC part in the character pannel (cool, tech ability, reflexes, the other stuff) making V take the pill but lowering his max hp by 25% like in dont fear the reaper. (with it lowering even more the more perks you have in the skill tree. Basically highest risk, highest reward.)

Legit, an idea like that makes me imagine V as Cyberpunk's "Sol Badguy" - where letting Johnny take control when warranted is akin to Sol activating his Dragon Install.

@@atoontoto That's the normal one, V's theme so to say. This one is has the cello and it only plays in Johnny's flashbacks, but unlike other in-game tracks like Cyberninja from Oda's bossfight, this track is nowhere among the official releases, so it's just game-ripped and remixed versions.

This game has some fantastic music sometimes, it's just a shame that when you boil it all down - there isn't much opportunity for it to flex those muscles.
Here's hoping the DLC and next games are more fleshed out. I wouldn't mind more major jobs instead of, like, finding everyone's lost son or whatever.
