Solving the IMPOSSIBLE CHIDORI joint!

  • Chidori is a Japanese wood joinery system and a brain teaser/toy. A Google image search of "Chidori system" will show you TONS of amazing architecture using this complex joinery.
    In this video I outline how to do it! You get better detail on a large screen so keep that in mind.

    Great video except for the fact that the autofocus makes it really frickin hard to watch - half the video is not exactly viewable. Also why cut out the final assembly after the sanding of the third peace? Oo

      I’m currently taking donations. Ha! I know I really do. I just recently built this assembly table as a quick fix, but I need to make a decent bench with a few different vises.
