Mixon over Walker is bananalands
Actually insane, Mixon should be ok in Houston but in dynasty? Hell no
It's like taking advice from a child about investing all your money in candy.
Give me Mixon at cost over what you're paying for Walker. I'll take Mixon and a 1st over Walker, every day. Y'all can spend up for Walker. Plus the question still stands, how are they going to use Walker in a new offense?

@@joshuafoltz5222 Who said anything about spending up for Walker? He is simply the more valuable asset, so, in a vacuum, you would want to be holding him over Mixon. Has nothing to do with going out and getting one. Not that I think Walker gets you Mixon and a 1st like you mentioned, but maybe he can in some kindergarten leagues. You're certainly not getting Walker and 1st for Mixon today, or probably ever. Why wouldn't you want the asset that can get you more? Even if Mixon outproduces Walker by 10% over the next 1-2 seasons, and there's a decent chance he can, Walker is still only 25 years old when Mixon turns 30 and his value evaporates into nothingness.

One RB to lookout for in Denver is Blake Watson, impressive so far, Kamara-like which Payton loves. Caught 53 passes for 480 yards his last year in college. Doubtful Perine is even makes the team and Javonte could get traded.
Got our dynasty draft this weekend. I’m not super high on Rome at the 1.03 (1 qb league). I’m the defending champ so I want help now not just in the future. I already offered the 1.03 and my 1st next year for the 1.01 but that was turned down. Should I stand firm and just take rome? If I do trade down, where should I target? Should I try and trade the pick for a vet? It’s a 14 team start 9 1/2 ppr with no premiums
I also forgot to mention I own the 1.02 as well so trading for that pick is obviously not an option
Far from a guarantee, but see if you can trade it for London, Olave, or even Tyreek if he's not on a win-now team already. Might not be enough straight up, so you may have to throw in a round 2 kicker, but worth a shot. Otherwise, I don't think it'd hurt to take Rome, eat the *potentially* lackluster rookie season production, and enjoy him being tied to Caleb for years to come. Not too worried about target competition beyond year 1 for him
@@EvyDiz17 what do you think of this deal? Kmet and the 1.03 for hockenson and the 1.07? Is that giving up too much for a current unknown?
@@justintheking1 Yeah, if I'm you (contending), I'm probably not making that deal, but it's not terrible. I don't know if Hock (likely to miss the start of the season) is that much of an upgrade from Kmet for you to downgrade from Odunze to whoever would be there at the 1.07 (BTJ, Bowers, Brooks). Hock and the 1.07 aren't immediate impact makers for this upcoming season. Hock coming off injury, playing with either Darnold or a rookie QB, competing with Jefferson and Addison for targets. Might as well roll with Kmet at that point, especially in a league where there's no TEP, you're kind of splitting hairs there whereas the 1.03 to 1.07 downgrade is a bit significant.
@@EvyDiz17 makes sense. I was thinking hock because it probably wouldn’t hurt me if he missed time early but he could be in difference maker come playoff time but it is risky and does make sense to maybe not

Just my opinion but I truly think Slowik will expand the offense in year two. I believe Mixon was acquired and extended for his ability as a pass catching back as much as his run game as Slowik adds another element.

Sometimes the values these guys have are wild, wish I had people in my league like them lol. I couldn't get a first *last* year for Derrick Henry, rIght now I can't even get teams with 2 RBs total to buy him for a 2nd while throwing in my 3rd next year. KTC has him 2.06 but people act like he has already died and is a 4th.

That Sean Peyton clip talking about Jaleel is taken out of context that was a response to a direct question about the younger RB’s.
Analysts need to account for how terrible Shane Waldron's offense was in Seattle last year. Dead last in plays per game. All Hawks should have more opportunities for fantasy success, and by extension, we should put some brakes on the excitement for Caleb Williams in year 1 or however long Waldron will be calling plays.

Not for nothin.. this has nothing to do with this episode but I wanna share a thought with you fellas. I think y'all are givibg Ekeler too much flack. He to me falls under that category of Javonte and I forgot who else you said that were like eh give em a pass because he played the year hurt. I put Pollard in that category too. I give them all 1 more year through a full lense. EF The contract on Ekeler cuz it's not like Brian Robinson is a savage. He could easily be a RB2 if he's healthy and has that one more year that you thought he would have before you switch up. I think him and Pollard will be more valuable week 3 I'd their schedule isn't crazy.
My issue with Polk is that he's a contested catch guy (red flag for getting separation against NFL defenses), and is worse against zone than against man.
You've talked about fading guys like that. And then on top of it, he feels like a lot of other Patriots WR picks. Contested catch guy who can't separate.
So he's the opposite archetype from what seems to work for fantasy in today's NFL, and he falls into a similar style and landing spot as many WR that have left a sour taste.
I'll still draft him, but he's going to need to fall a bit for me.
Walker over Mixon and it's not even close. Especially in Dynasty. I rarely disagree with Jason but he's wrong here.
I mean, technically, sure - but you're missing the point. Rbs don't matter as much as you think they do. You can find them anywhere. Walker is an obvious trade candidate.

At the trade deadline this past season I acquired Derrick Henry, Pat Freirmuth and chase Claypool. I gave up Alexander Mattison, Johnu Smith, Hunter Renfrow, and My 1st round pick in this year's rookie draft that turned out to be pick 11 of 12 due to losing in the championship by 1 point. Hope that helps with the Derrick Henry dynasty convo. What ate your thoughts?
