in my experience Crackdown is great in this deck, it can get you Link material and also serves as disruption but since it's a Trap it's not as good as Mind Control going second
I think Master Hyperion would be the perfect kind of Boss monster for Code Talkers. As a Quick effect it can banish from field or grave either a cynet s/t like Conflict or 1 of the hand link monsters like Code Radiator. :)
I just stumbled upon this gem of a deck profile as I picked up Code Talker control. I missed out on the previous year due to focusing on HERO and life in general. But somehow, I truly like this deck and want to give it a shot before Cyberstorm Access. I do have to ask what other cards would be good for this version of Code Talker? Is Link Into the VRAINS worth using in this build?
I kept running into "brick" hands when running all those Cyberse monsters. With bricks I mean having too many starters/extenders in hand with no (hand)traps in hand. The ratios I use are 3 Lady Debug, 3 Cyberse Gadget, 3 Dotscaper (I know it's once per duel, but it's still a single card combo into Heatsoul) and a single Infra-link flier. I run 2 Cynet mining (having 3 was a bit too much in my testing hands) and the rest of the deck is like 15 or 16 handtraps, 3 Summon Limit, 3 Summoning Curse, 3 Cynet Conflicts and when going first 3 Crossout Designators, when going second I replace Crossout with Dark Ruler No More. Gameplan is getting Heatsoul out turn 1, survive 1 turn and second turn go for Update Jammer into Accesscode to finish
How many Micro Coder/Code Generator/Code Exporter etc? I’m looking into giving Flame Bufferlo a try to draw into better interruptions earlier and then just link it with something in hand.
I know this is a very old comment, and you’ve probably changed the deck list, or moved to a different deck, but I have some suggestions. Take gadget and dotscaper both down to one copy. They eat up your normal summon, and ideally the only time you use Dotscaper is when you dump him into the grave, because of CODE GENERATOR,s effect. Also, I don’t know if you play IRL or on Master duel, but 3x small world can help fix your hands by pitching a monster and looking for the extender you need, based on the other remaining cards in hand.
@@berserk2638 Oh yeah my friend, that's an old list of mine. By now dotscaper and gadget are reduced to one, Small World and Paralel Exceed have been added and I added Backup Secretary as another easy extender. I'm waiting for the new link 1 Code Talker monster to hit the TCG
@@Daman3tm Nice. Do you think the new “Cynet Rollback” will be more than a 1 of? With all the banishing effects these cyberse cards have. Would Link Apple make its way into 15 Link Monster decks, do you think?
Hmmmm thats a pretty good build I kinda wanna see you maybe try doing a mixed mathmech code talker deck maybe that might have potential as a combo deck maybe?

Would you consider Parallel Exceed in this deck? The extra deck might be a little tight but you really only need to find room for Dweller and Bagooska. Also if push comes to shove, it is just a good extender that helps you link climb into Accesscode.
I see it as very good alternative options, the thing with Code Talkers is that most effects lock you out of summoning anything but Cyberse monsters. So bagooska or dweller would have to come out before anything else which can be difficult if you don't hard draw one exceed. After the search via codec or Heatsoul it's impossible to bring them out.

@@berserk2638 My cyberse deck is just a simple turbo heatsoul with 20+ handtraps, but I can see that happen for a more classic code talker deck
is the engine 18 cards engine still relevent in 2024?

You can use circular in the control deck aswell
