Thanks for showing the Zealantis line. This deck does a lot of damage, but it seems like it grinds well, disrupts well, and has great recovery that usually kills opponents on the clap back.
Thanks so much for these vids, man. I took your list to locals and ended up going 3-0. Drew really well, made a couple misplays, but had a lot of fun with it.
Loved the deck since it got the support in Duelists from the Deep and I’m really happy with its power level.

Inplay with crystal heart is so good lot of ppl dont playnit but the uneffecht beat stick is to mutch fore them to handel

As a master duel player, thanks for explaining Zealantis! Never understood why it was such a big deal, but taking advantage of water lock is devious. I look forward to making use of this when we get access to it.

@@rikyesposito7126 You lock yourself into only being able to summon water monsters. Zealantis banishes all monsters and then special summons all monsters back but since all of your opponents monsters are probably not water you aren't allowed to summon them back because you water locked yourself so they all stay banished.
If you do the spring girl line, you should always make sea horse cl1 and spring girl cl2. Protects the whole line from ash blossom to get into buddle reef.
In Zealantis combo line, when you use Zealantis effect and banish your field, you don't get Mandarin back, it gets banished due to its effect.
i love marincess, it is second deck i really learnt how to play and enjoy it a lot, it is quite easy to comprehend lind climbing for beginners and it can end on tower with monster negate in hand - unfortunately in master duel their hit toad, so 4 rank package is little less useful now, also we are now in tear meta with cards running aroung moving GY, so cess has little problem with that, still love them
You have dweller in MD or kragen
@@lynchh270 problem is bahamut shark line doesnt eat 2 bodys for linking so dweller or kragen are far more expensive to make. end board mostly just is argonaut pass unfortunatly
Was interested in Marincess since I really love water decks. And I wanted to splash icejade in, finally I can understand how to play it and maybe I can give my jade ladies some more gameplay than the nothingness they have now XD

should add in some Icejade cards, because having Gymir Aegrine out as well keeps your monsters from getting banished/destroyed. I used her to play through Dimension Shifter, which kills the deck.
Discard a WATER monster, special summon Ran Aegrine +token, synchro for Gymir, then safely play through D-Shifter
I always feel like im on fools errand when i see successful marinecess list. I play a much different game plan that is completely required at my locals.

When you mention using battle ocean to play around interrupts are you chain blocking on summon effects with the effect to equip on summon or am I missing something else that’s obvious?
I like this yellow sleeves...i bought yellow katana sleeves but they are to large (want 2 double sleeve). Which one you use?
how do you play around the Cosmic cyclone, they banish my field spell and it feels doomed
Great video! I'm very new to Marincess and I want to make the deck, but I don't really know how it's played... I'll watch your video several times to remember it!
And I have some questions:
Does the deck suffer Dark ruler, Droll or Shifter?
Is there a way to play the water statue or it isn't possible?
Water statue is not needed.
Auto loss to shifter
Droll is whatever
Dark ruler is useless if you made with crystal heart

Add 3 copies of Adularia and one or two of the new icejade (and of course, the synchro)
Adularia can be special summoned if you control a face up continuos spell or trap, then if you send 2 continuous spell/trap you can send any monster lvl 4 or less, so you can send ANYTHING WATER to revive with Anemone, id preffer water statue, then you link 3 into marble rock and recover any monster by anemone and deffend the statue
How to counter them?
can zealantis special summon back link monsters? or can it not since it says to summon in defense
You don't have to summon in defense, so yes zealantis can summon back link monsters
so the blue tang one card combo is such as the springirl combo?
Every level four or lower marrincess monster is some type of one card combo
On the first combo, I think you are better off going bahumat first and banishing the pasc. It let's you keep the seahorse as an extender and you can always bring the pasc back later on in the combo with bubble reef. I prefer having the additionally extension over keeping pasc in gy
In the first combo, the reason I summon spring before making bahamut is
1. Keeping pasc in grave is solid, but u could definitely choose to keep sea horse instead if you prefer. But mostly
2. It let's me keep blue tang on field to proc the duality effect. Which if you start with spring girl instead of cynet, getting the early tang with sea angel helps play a little bit around droll.
Just a couple of different nuanced lines. I wouldn't say either is better or worse than the other
Do you think it will remain a viable tier 2 deck after cyberstorm access? Also, thoughts about the icejade support to go into the swordsoul lvl 10 (water)?
I think it will make it stronger
It's gonna be stronger than tier 2. The Icejade support seems neat and you'd probably play it for either Chengying or Gymir, but the card everyone is sleeping on rn IMO is Adularia of the Moonlit Water which comes out in Cyberstorm Acces. That card is gonna be insanely good in Marincess

@@threeinitiates8260 field spell equips not once per turn. You can search it with sea angel so you can equip blue slug and sea angel to coral anemone, summon the adularia out, send both blue slug and sea angel to dump water statue and use anemone to reborn it.
@@ainevek so the equips count as “spells and traps” or does the field spell meet the requirement to special summon it. I’ve been wanting to find a way to use statue this could be huge

It's solid. It's good in very open formats and even chaotic ones because it controls all that chaos with the sheer amount of flex and defensive spots it gets
