@@Engulf257 Freudian slip. You're correct, I did intend to say "not everyone is autistic", but "everyone is not autistic" is essentially what I believe.
Hm, I do not think Jen has autism, she is quite the opposite to the IT guys. As their bosses are as well. Comically would also not make sense, as you usually need an opposite trait in a show to emphasise the traits of the main characters. She is always referred to as a "people person", she is directed to help them when they can not communicate with neurotypical people. Still, one of the best shows ever :)
The Spectrum for Autism is so vast that I don't sincerely believe that anybody now falls outside its range... anyone who's experienced any form of Social Isolation, misread/missed a social cue, been baffled by the behaviour of those around them, behaved inappropriately due to any influence (alcohol, ignorance or lies) or, in any way, gone against the 'social norms' (whatever they're deemed to be during that millisecond) can now claim to suffer from the condition. Psychology and Psychiatry are a joke. Any area of Professionalism where two people - or the same age, training and experience are given data - and can't, when studying said data hundreds, if not thousands of miles apart - come to the exact same conclusions isn't a Science - it's Opinion.
The old “ I know someone with Autism so I know Autism” but do you have it? Maybe you need to spend more time around him. And also like the below poster we are different but have similarities.
There's somebody at the door....there's somebody at the door....
Someone needs to add that to their ring doorbell ring
Why am I just now noticing that Jen is the epitome of masking?
Jesus Christ. EVERYONE IS NOT AUTISTIC, and probably, that includes you.
@@lancewalker2595 don't you mean not everyone is autistic?
@@Engulf257 That's what I said.
@@lancewalker2595 You said everyone isn't autistic, you're saying autism doesn't exist.

In this case its hyperbolic colloquialism but I agree about the rest.
Puts the psycho in psychology. I don't care for, or believe, in ogy's or ism's.
As someone who has an autistic stepson, none of this relates to how an autistic person reacts to life around them.
As someone who has autism, we are all very different to each other. These are almost all typical Aspie traits.
