As a 30+ year veteran of the IT industry, I can confirm "IT Crowd" was a documentary, not fictional.
Including the D&D?
I can also attest to that
@@gommechopswell sometimes
@@Cookie__XD 😁I love that, almost worth taking up a role in IT for.
I have worked IT since 2016 straight out of college and other than working in the basement all I can say is yes
Roy screaming 'MOSS!' right after asking if this was the stress class always cracks me up
So funny. Watch all seasons. Wait a few years. Repeat. Never gets old.
Yee-up
Same here with peep show aswell
I concur
I actually rewatched it five times in the span of a year and still never got tired of it
If you walk in front of a magnet it only takes a few months to fade away from memory instead of years
Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry. Two gems I discovered through this show.
Unhand me priest
One of my favorite episodes. “Are you stressed, Jen?!”😂😂😂
No? Are you sure?

This show demonstrates so perfectly what a career in IT Support can do to a person. 😂😂
turn them into sarcastic "jerks" quotations because it all depends on who hears the sarcasm.
As a IT department survivor myself, it's relatable and hilarious.
Same here haha
Fire, exclamation mark. Fire, exclamation mark. Help me, exclamation mark. 123 Carrendon Road. Looking forward to hearing from you. All the best, Maurice Moss.
Dear Sir /Madam
No, that's too formal 😂
When the stress teacher gets stressed out 😂
Moss asking, "when did u grow a beard?" kills me.
Heard about a guy who was turned down at a software developer interview because he was not geeky enough. Well, these two chaps would definitely be accepted there.
Fun fact, for all who have played Amnesia a Machine for Pigs. The Stress speaker is the voice actor for Mandus.
Wow...!
This show is so chaotic, I LOVE it! Moss, Roy and Jenn my favorite characters on TV
Douglas ❤
I've only just realised today that the opening to this scene was a tribute to Laurel and Hardy in Sons of the Desert.
They should ask "Have you seen "The IT Crowd" during job interviews to make sure they know what they are getting into.
Fun fact, this was based on a Laurel & Hardy sketch from one of their movies.
I only started watching Father Ted because of this show but for me, the leap in humour, context, and relevance is remarkable. There are so many brilliant parts to it that I've never seen anywhere else
Note how much the stresses lady in the chair is laughing. :D
The fingers gets me cracking up every time. Been there, experienced that
You’d be stressed losing it with these two. 🤣
One of the funniest scenes but not the only funny scene in this great series.
The writers must be fans of Laurel and Hardy, as they are replicating this scene from the L and H movie ' Sons of the desert.
Great show.
Why didn't u include the brilliant sketch where Chris Morris bursts in and says "We're having a war on stress.Anyone who is still stressed by the end of today is FIRED!"?????
That was at the start of the episode it's on CZcams somewhere
I thought that part was slowing it down, glad they got rid of him for his "son" He was good, but I found his parts slowed everything down. I usually don't like new characters part way through but His "son" was much better than I gave him credit for, so was a nice replacement
Stress is a disease people. And I'm the cure. I'm the doctor with a the cure. No, I'm a general and it's still a war. A war on disease.... STRESS
Why do I know it by heart?😮😅
@@ravinraven6913I love both Douglas and his late father 😂
The stress class scene is based on and a tribute to comedy icons Laurel & Hardy.
I also think Simon pegg did this same scene from SOTD ..... also in obvious tribute.
Roy does have that effect on people lol. 😅
Absolutely loved this show!!!!
this and coupling were a lot of fun.
The shoes 🤣🤣🤣
I loved this show!
It was a sleeper
It was great.
I watched it all again last week 😜 I usually watch it at least once a month and it still has me in stitches 😜
@@ackerjawaka4742 Where do you stream this? I can't find it anymore.
Dear sir/madam...Thanks for posting part two.
My favorite show. The Best!!
this episdoe was so funny. I absolutely love this show!!! Work Outing is one of my favorite episodes!!
THE SHOEESSSS-UH
I had shoes in in NYC that were so uncomfortable I nipped into DSW at midtown to get flip flops to wear home.
Don’t watch The IT Crowd on a plane. I was laughing so hard I started crying. They threw me off for being too disruptive.
When he traps his fingers 😂😂😂😂😂
"STRESS IS IN HERE!!!"
The seat thing is too real
Lmao the toe
Never fails.
The Fire.......at the Sea Park?
Fore! Five! I mean fire!
What is Moss doing with my stress machine?
Chernobyl ...have you tried turning it off and on again ...yes...and now its on fire
It's the golf incident all over again.
❤️
STRESS
The solution is called "Only work with other educated PROFESSIONALS."
FOUR! I mean FIVE, I mean Fire!
dear sir strike madam, I would like to inform you of a fire, no that is too formal..Dear sir strike madam, Fire! Fire! Help! 134 calendar road, looking forward to hearing from you.
They’re young there
Directly referencing Sons of the Desert, Laurel and Hardy.
Which ep is this?
S1 e2
1:11 Did he hurt his hand or his foot?
Hand 😂
his foot, Moss moved jumped the chair forward and it lands on Roys foot
@@Interitus1It's most definitely his hand.
@@jeshkam I'm voting foot just to balance out the responses.
His dignity
Was this a bonus episode?
No, s1 e2
This is a homage to laurel and hardy .
An homage, if you will.
@@automat3000 That depends on whether or not you pronounce the 'h' in 'homage'.
(I don't pronounce the h, so it's 'an homage' for me. Something like 50% of us pronounce the 'h', so for them, it's 'a homage')
@@matambale Actually, I do, so in my case it is actually "a homage". I was thinking about the stressed syllable rule - the one that means it's "a history" but "an historic". The first syllable is stressed in homage, so if you pronounce it with an h, it has to be "a".
😂😂😂
Just to explain the joke for non-IT people: he should have left the soldering iron turned OFF and not turned it ON again, which is what caused the fire, which he then ought to have reacted to more promptly.
I'm equally ignorant about shoes, but I'm pretty sure failing to notice Katherine's legs qualifies as a self-inflicted hate crime.
What legs they were too.
Are you old, are you very old?
The fuckers removed it from any of the five streaming services where it's included and I have to pay for each show to view it.
